Bunch of professional scammers I just bought a used Lexus a month ago n I already have to pay ****for new axel and tmps sensor and it's not covered on the warranty because I violated time constraints when I even showed the my appointment before the expiration date and was rejected because the used car mechanic was not working that day now that he is working I've passed the month on warranty.ridiculousReview from John M

The service department has always ran behind schedule, but they do a good job. **************** is full of misleading sales reps and managers that pretend to care. Maybe not all, ****** seemed like she cared. I've purchased New when it was *** Rapton. I had a wonderful buying experience. This time around its now owned by Cap city. I just recently tried to purchase New and the sales team tried to convince me to buy an overpriced used vehicle. They then tried to severely low ball my trade. Then their manager reached out in a "pretend" caring email in which I replied to and they never got back to me. Good Luck Cap City. Buyers beware.Review from Jenifer T

I took my Pilot to Capital City Honda, I have been going there since it was Mel Rapton Honda. I always received great service. I brought my Pilot in a few months ago to find out my AC wasnt working and would it need to be replaced. Warranty covered the entire service (7k) Service Tech explained that the parts were on back order and that it would be awhile since they had no timeline on when they would be in stock. I called a couple of times during the summer and was told not to worry they will call no one did. I called in Aug and parts **** was shocked no one called. Confirmed all parts scheduled service for Thursday was told all was good on Thursday they need to finish a few things so needed til Friday. Friday came and not a returned call back I called over 10 times and not once did I get called back. They kept my car with no update. Saturday was the same finally I was told they were missing a part and had to find one. Called several more times finally was told found the part but will need it until Monday. 5 days with out a car, no call backs nothing. Manage never called either. In total I called probably ***** times. I can pull my call log. Around noon Monday I received the video text saying my car was finished and no other issues found. I called multiple times just wanting to get my car and was harshly told they still needed it to finish things up. I would understand this if they actually did car washes or a detail for the mere fact of how poorly I was treated for FIVE days. But nothing. Finally was able to get car around 3.:00 Monday. Not an apology nothing. I can't beleive you treat customers this way. Your service is terrible and keeping someone's car and not letting them know anything is unacceptable. Do better. I'm so angry and thoroughly disappointed. We have been customers at *** Rapton for two decades and I've always really appreciated their friendly customer service. I also really liked having all my records in one place... and I trusted them to be straight with me. But I've noticed a significant change in service since the dealership changed ownership in 2021. The service guys are still friendly, but it seems they've been instructed to squeeze every ***** out of their client base. I was told during a routine oil change that I needed to replace two "bushings" (control arms) in my suspension, plus a wheel alignment. Only one control arm was supposedly "torn", but I was told they should be replaced in pairs. They wanted $1,400. I was close to giving them a green light (because of established trust) but since the price was so high I opted for a second opinion. A local garage took a close look (without charging me a cent) and told me that my control arms are fine... completely solid. WTF Capital City??!! I'm SO glad I didn't just blindly turn over $1400!! And I can't help but feel like being a woman factored into the attempted deceit. I feel played, and Capital City has lost a long-time customer.Review from Kassidy L

I dropped my car off to capital city honda on **************** for repair work. They found above and beyond a lot of work to be done on my car. Prices kept changing, repairs were not done correctly, and my car that I use on an everyday basis to take my 2 year old son to chemo is now not starting, and making the same noises as before. I have called and called capital city honda, Ive tried to have them fix the repairs and they have directed me to multiple people that cannot help this situation. *** tried contacting the manager and he will not call me back. Its been 4 days of riding a bus to take my child to his chemo appointments! I am now filing a complaint with the courts to reimburse my 2000$ I put into my car or fix my car!! I do not trust this place and will never ever do this again with capital city honda.Review from Renee R

Buyers BEWARE of Capital City Honda on ******, I had the most horrible experience with this dealership ever. I was told one thing at the time of my Lease, then had to return not once but 5 Times to the dealership at my lunch hour to sign several different documents that I had already signed over and over again . Finance **** is by far the most rudest, gave me misleading information, had my trade in for almost 2weeks and called me during work hours several times to call my finance company to get the pay off , which had went up due to there holdback that brought the payoff hundreds of dollars more . II thought by speaking with the finance director ********************* things would get better , but they got worse. He was absolutely unapologetic, and by the time the dealer manager *************************** got in touch me , where i voiced all my concerns , I informed him I didn't want to through with the sale and wanted to take my business elsewhere , he told me it was to late. I leased a 2022 Honda Accord , on top of all the issues I experienced , my radio and all its features DO NOT WORK. Its a horrible nightmare I am going through and I hope ALL OF YOU will stay away from that dealership on ****** !!!!!!!!! I will take my business to another dealership when this lease is up .Capital City Honda Response

Buyer beware! I signed all paperwork to purchase a 2022 Honda Accord and wanted to see how the **** security system works and how to access it. My sales person AJ discovered the system had not been installed although the paperwork says they did install it. I asked to see the invoice for other installed features, but conveniently they did not have access to those documents on a Sunday. I personally believe as a 20 yr sales professional, I should not need to ask for the invoices, they should have been included in the rest of the paperwork. I would suggest asking for the invoice of dealer installed accessories before taking delivery or signing the paperwork. My experience was so bad Im filing a formal complaint with my state regulatory industry agency.Capital City Honda Response

I have personally sat with and discussed the transaction with the salespeople and management team that was involved and have determined with confidence that nothing nefarious occurred. This was a case of a salesperson being misinformed and poor communication by the staff, which is not a common occurrence and something that we have taken steps since to avoid having it happen in the future. The automobile industry has been significantly affected by the supply chain shortage and we have been evolving our business practices to help customers obtain the vehicle they are searching for and this has not been without challenges. The preordering and reserving of new vehicles prior to arrival is at an all time high, and delivering these vehicles in a timely manner with all the agreed upon accessories is one of our greatest challenges. Dropped off our Ridgeline for repair on Thur morning, appointment had to be made weeks in advance to get in. Was supposed to be done the same day but find out the part had to be ordered...either pay $25 to overnight it or wait 7-8 days and bring it back...chose to overnight it...next day, no call from service ***** Call them on Sat. to see what time we can pick it up, "oh sorry, waiting on a part, now it will be Monday...no call, nothing...asked for a call back, 5:20pm, no call yet...horrible communication! Would have been nice to know I wasn't going to be able to take my mom to get groceries and would need another ride to & from work on Monday!Capital City Honda Response

I would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership. Staff is unpleasant and if you ever need help you are out of luck. Even taking in the car for repair or maintenance is a hassle. I have had multiple issues with a brand new car. No one calls you back and your car will never be done with the time they tell you or even offer you a rental until its been there a whole day. I purchased a brand new 2021 car and not even two months old the check engine light came on. They were not able to figure out the issue, so their solution is just to clear the code and hope it doesnt come back.Capital City Honda Response

We have made a lot of changes with our staff and processes to improve customer service and I can proudly say that our customer experiences have dramatically improved over the past several months in our Sales and ******************** As for the engine light I believe the issue has been resolved. Very sorry that your experience was anythi9ng other than extraordinary, that is our goal.
