First they didn't even have our move scheduled after we had booked it a month in advance. I kept trying to call *********************** to make sure were confirmed and he wouldn't return calls. When I finally reached someone they had no idea we were booked for moving and storage that week. They cobbled together a pitiful crew who arrived late, didn't finish the packing job and didn't complete an inventory.The moving truck that came the next day also arrived late in the morning and the crew didn't finish until after 1 a.m. They clearly had zero experience and were the cause of all the damaged items we would discover later. Five months later we arranged for them to bring our furniture from storage to our new house. They did a better job on this end, but the damage had already been done. Too many objects to count arrived broken and we're still realizing things that didn't arrive at all. We filed a claim with their insurance carrier and were very conservative in our claim, totalling around $1500 and it could have and should have been much more. They offered $163, $100 of which they considered a "good faith offer". If it wasn't so insulting it would have been funny. We rejected that claim and let *******************, the owner who is so very clearly in the wrong business, know we expected more. This was in February. Today, May 2, we finally received a new "good faith offer" of $350, bringing our total to $413.Our losses totalled in the thousands, but because we signed off on the paperwork...which they required us to do before they would leave...we apparently in effect agreed that everything had arrived in good condition. I don't know how we possibly could have known that when we had close to **************************** our garage, where the crew asked to stack them to save time.The bottom line here is these people should be out of business. They are horrible at their job and couldn't care less.

We were promised 5 or 6 movers but only 3 showed up. It took so much longer, and they charge by the hour. Our new vinyl tile was torn and after several phone call attempts, we were referred to their insurance company. That company denied our claim. They were professional and kind prior to our move but not so after. I do NOT recommend Worth moving.?? ** Ashland VA

We have moved 12 times and our move with Worth Moving was a disaster.  Recommend using one of the big movers like ******, ******, ******, ***** ********, etc.  We have never had any problems with the big movers and they always covered the items whether damaged or lost. Worth Moving is not a reputable business. Not only did they lose 65 of our items, but they delivered someone else’s items and have yet to come pick them up after repeated calls from us to come get them. The delivery crew lead told us if we like someone else’s items that were delivered we could keep them. We told them to put them back on the truck. We had items that were supposed to be in conditioned storage that were delivered rusted and in boxes that had obviously been wet at some point. Heirloom furniture, Oriental rugs, garage tools, gone, never to be seen again. The delivery crew lead would not give us the inventory list to check off items until everything was in the house and then told us we had 120 days to file a claim.  Both the warehouse manager and COO told us in writing and verbally that they had our Oriental rugs and extension ladder, but would not, and have not delivered them to date.  The COO told us we had to file a claim before they would deliver them.  if you still choose to use Worth Moving, remember that regardless of what you are told by the delivery lead, in the state of Virginia you have only 30 days to file a claim. If you file and have not heard back from the claims agent before the 30 day time allowance, call them to follow up. The insurance company is as disreputable as the moving company. I highly recommend you take out personal insurance rather than the insurance Worth provides. We have escalated to the CEO, who has never followed up nor apologized. One of the employees from Worth told us that the warehouse has had several leaks and they had fired a lot of staff due to theft.  Mhmm, maybe some of our items never made it to storage.  

Please listen to the negative reviews, I did not. Currently I do not even know where my belongings are. The moving crew just took off on me Saturday 11/13/2021, without stating why and I'm completely in the dark right now about what is going on.

My move was the move from hell, So much of my furniture was damaged. The 3 guys showed up smelling like *********. I could not believe what I was experiencing they broke my wooden Giraffe’s nose, all of my leather furniture was punctured. My leather head board had a huge rip in it. The guy said things happen like it was nothing. MY head board was broken and they turned it to the wall so I wouldn’t even see it instead of being accountable. I moved on October 23, 2021 filed a claim and have not heard back from the claim company. Called several time’s and talked to Melissa who Is the person who answers the phone (customer service representative) Asked to speak with the owner Mat S**** on November. 12, 2021 and have yet to get a call back from him. I would not recommend this company to no once actually they should not be allowed to go to anyone’s else’s home. These 3 guys were horrible. I really don’t think they have any moving/packing experience. Who is going to pay for my damages when no one will respond.

This company is poorly run. Their moving employees, on my move from my home to storage, had little to no regard for my personal belongings. The GM, Tammy D****, was rude and refused to return phone calls or acknowledge emails. The estimator did not know what he was doing. Someone on the original move stole jewelry (rings) from my jewelry box. One of the movers stole all of the liquor we had in our home; he asked me if he could have some to drink and I said no, it did not make it to the packed boxes. I had many items damaged as a result of the move to storage, including every lamp in our house was broken and our solid oak dinning room table pedestal was broken off. I can say that the crew that moved my belongings from storage to my new home was very respectful and made every effort to not damage walls and floors during the move. I would not recommend Worth Moving for moving or storage purposes. I gave them 1 star but they don't deserve that.

Absolute nightmare to work with. Items broken and lost in storage never to be found. No communication, arrived 6 hours late. Our new front door is scratched and my sons mattress was lost and replaced with a cheap one. I am beyond frustrated. Run away and use anyone else.

This is an all-round Great moving company. The price is affordable, the workers are very professional, and the whole move took less than a day. The workers moved fast and were sure not to get a scratch on any of my belongings. Worth Moving is by far one of the top moving companies in Virginia and definitely the best moving company I've had.
