I bought a car from Haley Toyota certified. After driving it less than 90 days the check engine light came on. I checked the codes was told it was a bad cam shaft and cylenoid issue. Called Toyota who then told me I had signed a as is warranty. Upon later investigation that was a lie. None of my records show any signatures of as is. They told me I would have to go to another shop to have the car fixed. I went through corporate who then gave me a run around that they couldn't get ahold of the case manager in the dealership and the case was closed without any discussion of why. I am now 3 months with a car with a bad engine and now repairing it out of my own pocket. The dealership never wanted to discuss helping to fix the cost of the vehicle and explained they didn't know how to fix the issue and was very rude over the phone about the case. I even went to the shop for the oil change and diagnoses and was charged 150 dollars with no resolution. I will never deal with Haley ever again.

Vehicle was purchased 06/17/2023 with ****** miles. ** the time of sale the customer was made aware the vehicle was "As-Is". Customer signed both the Buyers Guide stating this as well as our own addendum waiving Haley's 72 hour return policy due to the vehicle being sold "As-Is". (Copies can be provided by email as we didn't want to upload the customers personal information publicly.)On 09/15/2023 (almost 3 months later) with ****** ( ***** miles later) customer came into service for their first free oil change compliments of Haley and to have the check engine light diagnosed. Customer authorized the $150 diagnostic fee in which we found codes p0016, p000a, p052a, p0026 and p0341 All timing related codes. **** ***** has a ***************** Bulletin # LTB00916NAS which recommends replacing camshaft VVT gears. Due to known factory bulletin and the possiblity of requiring special tools to perform the repairs we recommended that the customer take it to **** *****.

Abstain yourselves from doing business with this dealership, moreover buying a Toyota. I purchased a brand new Toyota and, 4 years later the paint started peeling off on multiple parts of the car. Ever since, it is been a battle with Toyota and the dealership to get my car repainted even when they submitted a recall about a defect on the paint sealing for that particular model. The recall included a warranty paint. When I took my car in, service manager *************** failed to do an accurate estimate and did not include a pealed the size of a coin in the back of my car. Service manager, *************** and Body shop manager *********************** have neglected to perform an accurate estimate and both of these individuals and the manufacturer having passing the ball for 4 months now. And, after posting this review I will get a response of please reach out to this email address or phone number thats what Ive been doing and everybody is absolving themselves from a defect on the sealing paint. I just wanted to post this to warn consumers about the incompetence of this dealership and its manufacturer. Never ever again will buy a Toyota.

Vehicle is a 2012. Customer first brought this concern to *********************************************'s attention in 2018 when the vehicle was 6 years old. At that time there was no support program from Toyota. Haley asked Toyota for "goodwill" consideration for the customer and at that time ********************** offered repair cost coverage of the affected areas at 75% of the total. The remaining 25% cost as well as a rental vehicle expense for the customer was paid for 100% by ********************************************* in effort to provide good customer service. In *************************** introduced a limited customer support program for this concern. Customer later returned with additional paint concerns. Haley wrote an estimate for all paint defects that would be covered by the campaign at the time and submitted to Toyota for authorization. As Toyota Corporate pays Haley directly to make these repairs it was in our best interest to include any affected paint defects for reasons not only to assist the customer but financially for the dealership. Haley perfomed the needed repairs per Toyota's guidelines for the affected areas that were present at that time. The customers primary coverage for this customer support program expired on 12/11/2022, therefore, any additional concerns are no longer covered by Toyota.

Took my vehicle in for their body shop to repair it. I get my car back and I have multiple warning lights, one tinted window (That is not legal in my state and my car has never had tinted windows), the vehicle has multiple warning lights flashing, and they let the battery go dead on my car. As it stands I am driving a vehicle that has a battery that requires me to jump start it any time I want to drive, because the battery is week I cannot use many of my cars features, and the car could leave me stranded at any time. This was brought to Haley's attention the day after and they have given me the run around about getting my vehicle fixed and it has been a nightmare. They keep sending me to the insurance adjuster and the adjuster sends me back to them. They have not once tried to schedule a date to get the vehicle repaired. To top it off they made a mistake and caused my battery to die and want me to pay for their mistake. I am not paying for their mistake. And I want the issues with my vehicle fixed.

I own a **** ****** *******. On 1/14/22 Went to Haley with several warning lights lit up. Ahmed A** called and said a rodent had chewed wiring in the wiring harness and said repair would cost $****. Called back the next day and verified that amount. Ali said it was that expensive because the wiring harness cost $****.Went in a couple of days later and asked for the written estimate, The amount on the written estimate was $******. The written estimate jumbled parts and labor in violation of Va. code section 59.1-207.3A. The charge for the wire harness itself and the labor was written on one line totaling $****. Two other charges totaling $**** were in case of possible damage shown because check engine and electrical warning lights were lit. At the same time no work was noted for concerns about the 4 wheel drive and automatic braking system lights which were also lit up. Additionally, there were about$*** in charges for flushing 5 different fluids. I had driven the car up there with no problem. Took the car to an independent repair shop. Received an estimate of $**** which was $**** for the new wire hanger and $**** for labor. When I paid I asked how much the wire harness cost. He gave me a copy of their invoice from ******* ****** in Chester with their price being $**** and the list price being $****. I asked about the check engine and "ECU" charges and they said once wire harness installed every thing worked fine. Went in with this information and met with Bob Y******** the service manager. He said the first line on the estimate that read [Primary]:CEL- check and diagnose why check engine light came on" for $**** was a Mistake and should have said it was" the cost of the wire harness! He then showed me a piece of paper that said wire harness $****. Then the next line on the est that said "[other] wire harness has severe rodent damage 82111-35P30 A dash will also need to be removed" for $**** was the cost of the wire harness "and labor".

I bought a car from Haley Budget Used cars and it has been less than a month since purchase. The car has broken down 3 times and I've made over $*** in repairs and now I need a new starter. I contacted the dealer and they refused to help. I just wanted a starter but they still said NO! So now I have a $**** paperweight.
