Summary of our stay at ******** ***** (a rental property from Emerald Isle Reality) – one week stay from 09/10/2022 until 09/17/2022.In our opinion, ******** ***** did not provide a desirable and livable property. The house, the appliances, and the amenities had far too many failures and problems to provide a first class vacation experience. We have rented many other vacation properties (some of those from Emerald Isle Realty). ******** ***** was by far the most expensive property we have ever rented and by far the worst. The on-demand hot water system should have been properly maintained, serviced, and functioning. Hot water was not properly distributed throughout the house. The air conditioning system should have been properly maintained, serviced, and functioning. Six loud stand-alone air-conditioning units were temporarily placed throughout the house. There were cold and loud zones and hot stuffy zones in the house. The lights and ceiling fan in the dining room, kitchen, and living room not working. An electrician fixed the lights on the second day. The house was genuinely dirty. Bar stools and floor coverings were stained and dirty. Ceiling fans and HVAC returns and vents were covered in dust. The HVAC filters were blocked with filth. There was mold on some of the walls. The house was infested with ants, spiders, cockroaches, and palmetto bugs. The front yard was a kudzu field with 4-ft tall weeds. The pool water was not clean. The elevator broke one day and was repaired in a couple of hours. The pool shower door could not be opened from inside the shower. The gas-stove igniter was broken. The toaster was broken. Several floor coverings were slip/trip hazards. The clothes dryer was so loud that it could be heard from the first floor garage. Our privacy was not honored. One of the service techs entered our house uninvited, unannounced, and without prior notification. We had five days of new problem findings, third-party contractor visits, and service techs
