These are nice homes but they all look alike in color. The outside of these houses are the same color; dull looking. I am going to purchase the Legend 4 and I rather have the house reached and wait to finish the attic. Homes by Vanderbuilt need to give some of these houses some really nice curb appeal.

From our visit to the lot through our (now) first three months in our new home, I have to say, wow. Other than our wait time for our home to be built, (Covid of coarse) I can't say anything bad. They have all been super friendly and absolutely fantastic about addressing any problem or concern we've voiced. We love our new home and everyone who has come to visit, ooze and ahs over the the kitchen (MY FAVORITE) and living room space as well as the master bathroom shower. Our electric bills have been unbelievably lower than our previous home of fifty one years. That's because of the exterior construction which allows for a higher insulation value. I recommended Homes by Vanderbuilt to my oldest, dearest and best friend, knowing I would never jeopardize that friendship so, yes, I have and will continue to highly recommend them.

We looked through the model homes for almost a year before signing a sales contract. There was never any pressure and the salesmen were always able to answer all our questions. The process was much easier than I ever expected! The interior trim of the home was a little less than perfect, but after a good painter came (not HBV employed) and caulked quiet a bit and did some touch up work everything looks great. We have only lived in our home for 3 weeks but so far we absolutely love it. We had HBV finish the upstairs which the kids love. I can't say enough good things about HBV for this entire time from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable and easy to work with. We highly recommend HBV!

We bought the house in 2018 and the process was easy and everyone was friendly. They placed the house and finishing crew comes in and fixes cracks from transport. We were supposed to have a gable on the porch but the roof dormer was built in the wrong spot so we had to change plans. We decided on a shed roof and the porch builders didn't show for like 2 weeks and had no intentions of coming soon. I said just build some stairs so we can keep the process moving. They failed county inspection because they weren't anchored to the house. So they just nailed straight through the stairs and vinyl siding. That passed.
Late 2019 we got the first year warranty done where they fixed all the cracks. ********* microwave died.
Mid 2020 about 50 cracks have came back and a different crew comes to fix them. They said they could tell who was the previous crew was because the work was so bad. It took them 2 days to fix everything. The front door is warped so bad that it will not lock.
Early 2021 The cracks are all back. Vanderbuilt says "i dont know why your house is cracking so bad, but we will come back and fix it". They put it on the schedule and FORGOT to come and they apologized.
late 2021 the door finally arrives and is put in. Im waiting for it to mess up. ********* fridge ice maker has gone out.
Early 2022 A cabinet over the fridge has failed under the weight of some cookbooks because it was glued instead of secured properly.

The construction is solid. Love the home. But the ********* frig after two years has gone bad. I suggest putting ** or ********** appliance in your new home The tech that came out to repair the frig stated these were the two best quality appliance.
I don't have any bone in this negative review of ********* but not happy with that company's quality.
Vanderbuilt homes is a absolute great home. Just need a few improvements in their selection of appliances.

Overall we were very satisfied with Vanderbuilt. The sales process and personal were fantastic to work with. The build process could use improvement in the quality of work (interior crew only). There could be improvement in communication, but overall, I was happy with the company as a whole and would recommend them to others.
