The Merchant or Moore Floors of Southern Pines or store Manager is involved in a process called a Waste Factors. A waste factor is a percentage of material left over the actual estimated, raw quantity. Most applications required a 5% waste factor. Anything left over after the installation is charged to the customer, regardless of the cost, quantity or condition. Therfore I was not able to return an unused, sealed, resalable condition, free from scratches and/or defects, in the original manufacturer's box and packaging and free of writing, carton of floor tiles. On 02/02/2022 I went to Moore Floor to return the item and was advised because of the waste factor I could not return any leftover items, regardless of the amount or condition. The Store Manager Kept telling me the waste factor is store policy and I sign a quote with the waste claimer. I mention to the Store Manager, I never heard of this policy, you never mention this policy before purchase and were told again you signed the quote with the waste factor statement. (I have no recollection of signing any quote with the waste statement). Because Moore Floors did all the measurements and product ordering, it will cost the consumer hundreds of dollars extra. This policy should be terminated or at least advise the consumers via voice of this practice, so the Consumer can decide to accept or not accept this policy. As of this writing, waiting for a response from the manufacture, **** Floors.
