      They are very deceptive. After my test drive in the new vehicle, the salesman informed me that the person that test drove my trade in vehicle noticed the transmission "has a hiccup." Classic scare tactic. I let this slide and kept on with the discussion. I left for the day to get my title and returned back the next day. The salesman agreed to price over the phone, where I mentioned for the second time that I will qualify for the 2.9% financing from **. When I arrived, all discounts were lumped into a single spot on their form. When it came time to do the financing, all of a sudden I didn't qualify for all the discounts in order to receive the ** 2.9% discount. They would have to take $2,000 back out of the discounts. Nothing was itemized. Nothing was explained about what that discount was. There's no telling what was going on at all. Just take our word for it. No thanks.

      Car dealership uses DECEPTIVE PRACTICES to sell expensive car warrenties. Finance Manager made several misleading statements about warrenty coverage to close the sale. Later, when we needed to use the warrenty the dealer refused to honor statements made by their employee stating "He no longer works here."

      This place is absolutely AWFUL. I bought a 2022 Silverado **** from them with only 22k miles. *** story is WAY too long to fit in this box. I have spent well over 12 hours in their service waiting room to fix problems that should have been caught by any service department that inspects used vehicles before they are sold. It was even sold with an open recall. This place is a nightmare to try to deal with and they have the poorest customer service I have ever seen at a major dealer. ***y don't return calls or emails for days if at all. See my review on plenty other review sites for all the details that won't fit here.

      I visited the dealership today to potentially purchase a new truck. I told the gentleman helping me that I did not want to run my credit until we got the numbers right on my trade in. He kept pushing me to do it and stated it wont affect your credit even if you have it pulled here and multiple other dealerships because theyll see that its for a truck. Thats completely false and misleading, *******. This ******* was willing to run credit for the sake of running it and destroying what I have spent years building and then lie to me about it

      My partner dropped their car off one evening after hours and the car did not get checked in the next day.. not until two days later did the mechanic check the car into the service center because the mechanic stated that they couldnt find the keys that we left on the vehicle. The next week, when my partner called in the beginning of the week, they were told the vehicle would be ready mid-week. When calling mid-week, they were told they would be called back. No call back. Next day, told them they didnt call back, they apologized and said vehicle would be ready next day (Friday). Called Friday, they stated vehicle would be ready before closing. Called before closing, no one got back to him. Went in on the weekend, said car wasnt ready, asked to speak to manager, waited ***** mins and still didnt get to speak with a manager. Something sketchy is up with this place. One of the worse inter-communication failures Ive ever witnessed in a business. Terrible, terrible experience. This has caused so many issues in my partners week.Im surprised they have an A+ rating on here, the BBB. Surely not Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac in *******, **. Someone please lower their rating.

      There is no information to investigate this claim, no customer information or VIN number. We have three after hours drop box's that have envelopes for the customers to fill out and put their keys in. If the vehicle was left after hours and the keys left on the vehicle as the customer stated, we would not have known the vehicle was here for service at that time. We will be glad to investigate the customers concern if more information can be provided.

      My wife and I purchased at 2022 Cadillac XT5 on April 30th from Thompson Cadillac in Raleigh. As of today, 5/17/22, the new vehicle has not been transferred into our name per NC DMV. Because of Thompson's failure to do so in a timely manner, I have been unable to transfer tags from the trade-in to a second car I own due to the new vehicle and transferred tags not being registered. This has resulted in not being able to drive the second vehicle due to being unable to register. I have spoken with ***** *****, salesman, several times regarding this... all to no avail. I was told by ***** that this would be rectified no later than last Thursday, 5/12... which as of today, 5/17, still has not occurred. Due to Thompson's lack of customer service in this matter, I have had to rent a secondary vehicle to drive in order to avoid violating motor vehicle registration laws. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received from Thompson, especially given the fact that I paid the so-called "doc fee", which is supposedly to offset costs of documentation and registration efforts, although we both know it is only another profit center. After a third trip to the DMV office which is a 40 mile round trip effort, I called ***** again on Monday, 5/16, and left word on *****'s answering machine for him to return my call to no avail. As this is indicative of Thompson's customer service, I assure you I will do everything within my ability to dissuade potential customers, as well as posting on social media, the Better Business Bureau and any other medium I can utilize to express my disgust and displeasure with Thompson's after-the-sale service. ******* ******** ** ******* ** *************** ** *********
