I took my BMW to them to change oil because my friend recommended them. BMW filter caps have plastic inserts that are important for the oil system to function properly. Clearly they forgot to put that insert back in or simply threw it away out of negligence. The car started showing a "drivetrain malfunction" warning. I took the car back to them but they had no clue. The dealer immediately identified the problem, it cost me 150$ to replace the filter cap and the problem was solved. When I called the owner of the place (*****) he dismissed my concerns by saying that the insert "probably wasn't there to start with" and that "they don't throw stuff away". It's clearly not true because I have only been changing oil at the dealership before and there was no problem before I took the car to Roan's. The dealership actually immediately identified the problem (they said it happens often with unprofessional mechanics). Most likely the guy who did the job was clueless about BMW oil filters and ***** or whoever his supervisor was didn't care to check. I learned my lesson well - when you try to save by taking the car to an unprofessional mechanic, it's going to cost you more. Stay away from this place at all cost! Also immediately after you enter, you sense something is not right - the customer area probably has never been cleaned and is full of some dirty stuff.
