This company drove me, my roommate, and numerous of our neighbors out of our building. Before any response from their profile mentions "this review is a result of the security deposit status," just know I did receive my security deposit back after choosing to stay quiet and stop my fight against their ridiculous and criminal business practices.My unit had intense water damage and a gas leak in the stove that both went untreated for months regardless of countless calls and emails. Until speaking with our neighbors did we find out our water damage was probably the least worrisome damage in the building, as there were people living with massive holes in their walls that pets were getting lost inside of due to incomplete maintenance, etc. Our water damage was worsening and our stove was still emitting a gas leak (to which we found out the replacement stove they finally gave us had a WORSE gas leak until they gave us a new one the very next day like magic after I called the gas company). Keep in mind during this time we had our rent in escrow for about five months to which the Court Clerk even said, "Wow, they're still not fixing your issues, they're really no go-getters huh?" To add insult to injury, **** had crews out constantly reworking empty units for new tenants but still completely disregarded all current tenants' issues. I was calling them every day to fix our problems, and nothing.I was accused numerous times of "defacing the property" with flyers that were spreading the word about options tenants have to defend themselves including rent escrow. I was also being threatened with eviction for talking with neighbors about these options, two illegal retaliations. Pero Real Estate / ********************************** is the same company guised under two names practicing criminal business tactics and are getting away with it, they attempt to scare tenants out of their legal right to challenge these practices and speak to their neighbors about them.
