I published several book on The book patch. I have many years of work on there and now I am unable to access any of my books. For some reason my account says they all are unavailable. Please help me retrieve my hard work back.

When I first started using TheBookPatch several years ago, they were decent, but that has changed. It started when I couldn't upload books onto their site for entire weekends at a time. "No big deal," I thought, "I'll just do it Monday." Then one day their website went black. The only words on the screen read: "WE ARE CLOSED." Did they go out of business? There was no word, no warning, or no explanation of any kind to let their customers and account holders know. None of the phone numbers that I could find for them worked. I finally called BBB and discovered they had an F-rating. A few days later, their website was up and running again, so I continued uploading books. A few days ago, I noticed that 8 out of my 12 books are missing. I didn't take them down, so where did they go? Every time I call, I get a voicemail (no matter what time or day). I've e-mailed twice and still haven't received a response. Not sure if new management took over or what is going on, but this company runs very poorly and should no longer be in business. Now I see why they are rated an F. They have a failing rating for a reason. If anybody reads this, please: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEBOOKPATCH. You will regret it. There are lots of other sites with which to self-publish that are built on rock, not sand.

I'm sorry to hear that what you've shared is true. The book patch was really thriving until I had a stroke in 2022. After that, my daughters ******* and ******* took over the business, but things didn't go as planned and it almost fell apart due to poor financial management and inexperience. Thankfully, I was able to reclaim control of the company through the courts in November 2022. However, there were some challenges we faced because of our debt, and ******************* had to shut down our website until we paid it all off. But we were determined to overcome this and after settling the debt, we moved our website to the cloud. We're now doing better than ever and want to apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. We're forever grateful to the thousands of members who never gave up on us during this tough time and we're excited for what the future holds.
