    I rent a 1 bedroom apartment in ********, *******, paying a rent of $2300. ** April 2023, my rent was low by $13.97, which I was not notified via email rather a document posted in the Service Star website (*******.com).In May 2023, there was a $75 payment for extending my lease, which was also noted on the document page in the above website.Every communication with Service Star the last 11 months have been via email. In the past when my rent was low, a representative emailed me, and I paid it.This time, *******************************, Property Manager, and her manager *****************************, decided I owe a total of $457.00 as of 5/10/23, when I was FIRST informed via email on the above. The amount included late fee.I refused to pay the amount as this was unethical. If for 11 months all communications were via email, and now I am told it is my responsibility to visit *******.com regularly, and look under document section for communication from *******, when there is no notification from that system to my email, as well as no prior notice given to me to see this page for 11 months.Why is it a different process was followed before?These two ladies are abusing their power. I need justice.I will pay the $74 and $13 and nothing more.I request integrity and ethics to be upheld by ******************************* and *************************************,****
