      ************************************************************************* Lakeside Pools LLC (LSP) and its owner ******************* deserves 0 stars!However great a job they did before does not make up for the ghosting, project abandonment, and every other frustration multiple customers have experienced from this company now! My family was always on time with the payments and always patient with the understandable delays but at the end of May 2023, once we submitted our last payment to schedule ************, LSP disappeared. Phones were disconnected, emails were ignored and I've found out that all, if not, most of the employees that we spoke with all QUIT! No warning, no concern for the customer!Every subcontractor that we reached out to, in hopes to find out if we were ever scheduled to get the interior done, are all distancing themselves from LSP because LSP is dragging down the reputation of the local industry here in *******!Be aware! Another user stated that they are now attempting to operate under Wrangler Construction LLC and they are RIGHT! ******************* and his associates are trying to operate with a SUSPENDED LICENSE!!!SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE DISASTER THAT IS *******************, WRANGLER CONSTRUCTION AND LAKESIDE POOLS!

      If I could give zero stars I would. **Do not use this company! ** Actually, I am not even sure if they are still in business considering I have been calling and emailing since Thursday with no response. But just in case... The owner is *******************. If you see his name associated with another company, run far away. I have requested him to call me several times during this process and never has he once reached out on my concerns. Our pool process started in August of 2021 with an estimated completion of May of 2022. That was not even close. Pool was finally completed 5/18/23 after months and months of escalating the issues. Not only did the pool take 19 months to complete, but the customer service along the way was lacking and unprofessional. I had to follow up on status many times due to lack of updates from Lakeside. Might I add that the people that started with Lakeside when we signed are no longer there. 4 employees including our superintendent decided to "retire" and get out of the business. He was the best part of this process. ******* the sales manager was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She was yelling at me on the phone when she got confused on having a conversation with another customer with the same first name. Also refer to *** 15's article where other individuals had the same issues and same timeline. There are many other pool companies out there. Do not give this one business.***************************************************************************************************************

      We signed with Lakeside in November 2021. We are STILL waiting for our pool to be finished.Communication is awful. We have gone WEEKS without any sort of update. Then we are made to feel bad that we bothered them for an update at all. STOP telling us how we should feel and just do your job as we have hired you to do.SUBCONTRACTORS: EVERY SINGLE SUBCONTRACTOR HAS MESSED UP. Thank goodness our superintendent is the one who catches their mistakes. Even the dig was wrong (they didn't follow the plans on the blueprints). I watched subcontractors throw their lunch garbage on the dirt in our backyard, NEVER to pick it up themselves. Tile line was not done correctly, so we had to wait 3 weeks for them to come back out, remove SIX tiles, then had to wait for shotcrete to come back out, that was another 3 weeks. We failed the plumbing inspection three times in the summer (something COMPLETELY out of our control). Lakeside NEVER has a sense of urgency and it's always an excuse. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Currently waiting on a single electrician to lay another line; we have been waiting for 2 weeks and just today were informed AGAIN of another delay. Typical Lakeside. We were forewarned by others who have used Lakeside that the process with Lakeside is one to test your patience, but we had no idea that it would be this bad. When we ask if we will have a pool to swim in this summer we NEVER receive an answer. Our signed contract states completion date of October 2022, as in 6 months ago! (And please, stop with the "Supply chain issue" excuse. That's so 3 years ago.)We just want Lakeside to finish their job efficiently and CORRECTLY. We will never recommend them to anyone else. It's a shame too because when we were looking for a reputable pool company, we truly did our homework 1.5 years ago. It's sad that Lakeside talks the talk, but does not walk the walk. We have many people in our community who agree with us.JUST FINISH YOUR JOB, LAKESIDE. PLEASE.

      Hi ******-I apologize for the delays you have experienced along with your frustration, which I understand.When a pool project begins the clock begins after the handoff to the Superintendent and the Pre-Construction walk thru takes place which was on 2/11/22. There have been several changes made to your project which we are happy to do but they unfortunately cause further delays. On 12/9/22 a change order was signed changing electric, travertine, granite and artificial turf, as a result a permit revision was needed, project had to be held until that was approved, which was received on 1/18/23. Any errors on the job have been or will be repaired which is a normal part of the process which I understand can be frustrating, **** your superintendent is on top of all of it. I know your electric has been bumped several times and we are so sorry for this as we have no control over the subs schedules, which frustrates us as much as it does you. We have been in constant communication with you since the start of the project and will continue to do so until its completion. It appears we are waiting for your travertine to be delivered which you purchased on your own, once we get that we can complete the spa walls to add the travertine caps. Again, I am so sorry this has been a difficult process for you, surely that was not our intention. We appreciate your continued patience and are doing our best to get your project completed.

      I'm so confused what happened between September and December. We met with *****, as we redesigned to include a backyard kitchen. We went WEEKS without hearing about signing change order. **** came out in late November and showed us the plans and my husband asked where the new ones are? **** had no idea what he was talking about. **** made a few phone calls and OH, SORRY, those were never given to anyone. SINCE SEPTEMBER!!!!! So then a change order. Imagine where we could be had Lakeside done their due diligence in getting the plans in place CORRECTLY in September! I blame that 3 month delay solely on Lakeside. And now you say you're waiting for us to have the travetine delivered since we purchased on our own. Would you like to divulge WHY we had to purchase on our own? Because Lakeside told us in January that we still had 20 jobs in front of ours before we would get anyone here to do the travertine! 20 jobs! RIDICULOUS! So kind for Lakeside to let us break that portion of the contract and get a RELIABLE subcontractor of our choosing to do the job.... I'm sure it'll be the FIRST time since last February that any subcontractor job was done correctly the FIRST time! Speaking of electric, we are still waiting for an electrician to show up today, as you stated he/she would be here TODAY. My husband has emailed ******* today asking as to if this is being delayed, AGAIN, but he hasn't heard an answer (and most likely won't until later tomorrow). We are tired of being told "thank you for your patience", when we see pools being built by other companies all around our neighborhood, and they started WAY after us and are almost complete. Shame on us for choosing Lakeside. Again, stop with the excuses and just do the job.

      We absolutely LOVE ********* backyard now that it is finally completed. The quality of workmanship is EXCELLENT. Lakeside Pools designed and completed our 1/3 acre backyard which was nothing but dirt when they started. We gave them a larger than average project which included a heated ********** with waterfall, detached ramada with electrical & raised patio with lighting in the stairs, travertine patios throughout, stonework, 3 fire features, 2 separate fenced in yards, artificial ************* landscaping, plus a custom 14' RV gate. We recognize that this hasn't been an easy process for anyone, and often became contentious mostly due to things that were out of the control of Lakeside as with any pool contractor during these last few years. Even with the labor & material shortages, Lakeside never compromised on quality. But the majority of the staff remained patient and vigilant. Overall, we are beyond pleased and actually heated up the pool and spa this winter and enjoyed it tremendously. We want to THANK YOU ALL, ****, ***, ****, ***** and ******* at Lakeside for their hard work. *** and *******************************

      Extremely pleased with my new pool by Lakeside Pools. If anyone is in the trades they are aware of nothing short of chaos with materials, costs and securing labor which has occured. Communication from the office was always on timely and the target dates were hit. Great company and team and my family absolutely loves the swimming pool. Would recommend to family and friends.       I have been waiting for a simple lap pool to be completed for 15 months. ************************ passed inspection on Monday of this week. I was asked to make final payment on Tuesday so that they could finish the pool. I'm now being informed that it won't be finished until September 30th. That makes a total of 16 months for a simple lap pool. Supply issues aside this is unbelievable and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for a pool builder. When I complained all I got was " I'm sorry".

      ******- I am sorry for your frustration, your pool is at interior finish which means you are nearing the finish line. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the sub contractor for dates for interior finish, and that is the date we were given. There are only 2 companies in the **************** who are licensed to install PebbleTec products, and they work for all of the pool companies in the valley, so we have to wait our turn. I apologize for the inconvenience , we are doing the best we can, we want your pool completed just as badly as you do, and are doing our best to try and move things along.

      We signed a contract back in March of 2021 and it is now July of 2022 and we still do not have a pool, grill or fire pit that we can use. We paid the entire project in full in cash. $153,000. They owe us work. We do not owe them money. First of all, we sat with open trenches in our backyard for 10 months waiting for concrete to be poured in the pool. They said there was a lack of concrete and labor causing the delay. This was a dangerous situation for us, children and pets. Then, we were told by the hardscape manager that a landscape employee threatened a hardscape employee with a gun right Infront of our house. Lake side pools did nothing about this and denied that it happened. Back in April of this year, we had a grill, fire pit and fire feature partially worked on. However, it is July and we still can't use them because the gas people never returned to finish the work. Once again, we were given the excuse that there is a shortage of labor. We have been waiting since April for the pebble tech to be installed in our pool. The appointment has been constantly rescheduled numerous times with the same old excuse. All what we want is to have the work in our backyard completed. 17 months into the project and we still don't have a pool, grill or fire pit that we can use. We were never told upfront that the project would take this long. We interviewed 6 other pool companies and would have never gone with Lakeside Pools had they been honest and truthful upfront.

      While we understand all of your frustration with the delays, please understand that when you signed your contract we had no idea, what was coming in our industry as far as delays with materials, equipment and labor, we have kept you up to date during the process to the best of our ability regarding delays. As of 7/20/22 the interior finish has been completed on your pool and the mechanical startup of equipment is scheduled for 7/22/22. Regarding the **** Firepit and Wok Pots all gas has been completed, ************* needs to hook up the gas line to the meter, this needs to be scheduled by you the homeowner and this has been conveyed to you on several occasions. You can contact them to set up a time for them to handle that portion of the work. Again we are sorry for your frustration, you are almost at the finish line, and we appreciate all your patience.

      Unfortunately, no one ever told us that it was our responsibility to call ************* to get the gas line hooked up. We have been working with *****, the customer service representative, since April to find out why the crew never returned to finish the work on the water feature and the gas hook up. She escalated the situation to her GM and still no response. We are tired of waiting and have hired a pool plumber to come out and finish the work that Lakeside Pools didn't complete. It will cost us an extra $400.00 but at least the work will finally be finished, and we can finally after 17 months be able to use our grill and fire pit. My husband explained this situation to Coty the supervisor yesterday. He acknowledged that the crew should have completed the work on the water feature and couldn't explain why they didn't.
