I purchased a dining table in March, 2023 and its broken into two pieces this week. I contacted the salesman and customer service. They said its over one year warranty period that they wont be responsible for any quality problem of the product and there is NO refund to me. Seriously? Its bad quality of your dining table and break into two pieces. Mega Furniture sells it to customers and doesnt care anything about sales service. BAD company.Review from JULIO V

Summer the sales person was the only good thing to report. Awesome person to work with. As for the business I will not be purchasing from this company ever again. First I was told 2-3 weeks for delivery. was told I would receive 3 weeks passed, then told me my delivery is in 2 days. After getting no confirmation or calls or delivery, I called the store again on the following Monday. The person on the phone informed me I was "scheduled for the upcoming Thursday" and they didn't know about a delivery for me on Friday. I informed them that I was supposed to have it delivered on Friday according to the sales rep at the store, then I also let them know that the upcoming Thursday would not work for me and I never would have agreed to it in the first place because of plans and purchases I made long before the phone call. I already bought ******** tickets ahead of time before this phone call and I will be in *********. I would have never agreed to Thursday for that reason so I asked ******* what THEY were talking about because it was literally another random date they gave to me at this point. I get a call from delivery while I am in ********* that they were 30 minutes away from getting to my apartment after I ALREADY CALLED THE STORE DAYS PRIOR TO THAT AND TOLD THEM THURSDAY WOULD NOT WORK FOR ME.So, on Thursday (01/11/24) I told delivery on the phone this would not work, and that I was literally in ********* at that very moment and that I already told someone on the phone from the store about it. I rescheduled for Monday (01/15/24). I don't know why they are on the way to my apartment after I already called the store and we spoke about rescheduling from Thursday because I would not be present.Today is that Monday(01/15/24), and no my stuff will not be delivered once again. Once again no one seems to know "what I am talking about" and I have been rescheduled from my furniture being delivered today, to this coming Wednesday (01/17/24).I won't hold my breath.Mega Furniture Response

If I could give zero stars I would. worst customer experience ever. I asked for a refund weeks before they even received the product in . I requested a call back and left numerous messages regarding my concerns about the lack of communication from this company. I asked to be called back to discuss my concerns further with no one responding at all, then I finally get a call stating that the items are in when I had asked to cancel this order weeks ago. Now I'm being told that I will not be able to get my money back because it cost them too much money to ship the items back. To this day I still have not heard from the regional manager, who I requested to speak with directly in regards to my concerns. I still have my money back. No one has contacted me and this is the worst experience I've ever had with a Furniture Place. Word to the wise never shop here it's overprice. **************** is horrible and no one ever returned your call.Review from Rachel D

Negative star is not available. This store has a warranty and return policy. They only give me store credit and will not apply it towards my current bill. They also want me to return the mattress.Mega Furniture Response

It is important to not that when it comes to manufacturer warranties there is a process to follow, you have indeed been granted an exchange for your mattress with the manufacturer, that entitles that you can reselect to a new mattress for the same amount of money you paid originally, however, warranties do not entitle money back at any time. This place absolutely SWINDLED my wife and I into buying a set of furniture under a SUPER SHADY financing plan that is ridiculously PREDATORY!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!Nearly a month ago, my wife and I visited a Mega Furniture to look around at a sectional and a dining room set since we thought this would be a great place to take a look after our family had shopped there recently.After walking around nearly the whole store, we figured that since we had good credit, the furniture was decent in price, that we would be able to afford going on an affordable financing plan.We decided to move forward and purchase a sectional and dining room set for around $3,000. We submitted an application and they came back and said we got approved for just the amount we needed, and they didnt need to pull a hard inquiry on our credit. We were specifically told that our payments would be just a little under $200 a month for 18 months without additional interest.Fast forward, I get a weird email saying that Im financing over $7,000, and that I was paying on a BIWEEKLY plan. I thought, there must be some mistake, and called the loan company and requested to go to a monthly payment. I told them the math didnt add up. They proceeded to tell me that according to the agreement I signed, I was on a custom loan plan and that I had one of the following options: pay the loan outright within 100 days to avoid paying the total cost and the cash price of the loan, increase my payments to over $400 a month for 18 months, or pay over $7,000 to fulfill the loan on a monthly plan.I never agreed to make payments biweekly, and I was specifically told that my payment was going to be MONTHLY! They failed to explain that by only paying what was considered the minimum, that if I dont pay the loan in full within 100 days, Im stuck with a balance that is practically more than DOUBLE of what the furniture was worth. I NEVER WOULD HAVE PURCHASED THIS HAD I HAD THIS EXPLAINED TO ME CORRECTLY.Review from Tammy K

We buy a dinning room set with 8 chairs, table and server on dec 11th. We received it 01/14 but 4 of the 4 chairs had scratches on the fabric, the table have 1 leg that its missing paint next to a metal detail so its very visible and the worse part is that the server had scratches on one side and in the other one was missing wood and they just paint in on top. I took pictures even before the delivery people left. But they told me that they will only take the server. 1 week after i received the server but again it issues. One if the sides have the wood like hit and they just painted again so they took it again but still didnt have response about the rest of the dinning set. This friday i received the server and one of the sides have red spots and even its very diferent the wood and not even sand it before painting. I called customer service and they dont respond and send email from there page and still with no answer. The worse part is that i was charge but still with no server. Im leaveing this review before the 48 hours so i hope that someone can help me with this. I wanted to buy something new, not repaired. Very disappointedReview from Bruce F

Nov 11, 2022 Bought a couch from the ***** store. - They delivered it the following week. It had a defect with the underneath "theater lighting", so we told them we wanted it fixed or a replacement. They said they would give us a replacement.- They delivered a replacement about two weeks later. That one had a defect with the reclining mechanism; they took it back and left us with the original couch, saying they would get another replacement. - About two weeks later they delivered another one, which had a defect in one of the arms. We called the store and complained. They offered to pick up the couch and repair it the following week. We told them we wanted a new couch or our money back. The store manager finally called and said they would pick up the couch and give us a full refund, including $110 for delivery. It took them another week to pick up the defective couch. December 28 After inquiring about the refund, we were told we had to go to the store to get it. When we arrived, they only refunded the cost of the couch, not the complete charge. We refused the partial refund and asked to talk to the manager who told us we'd get all our money back. We were told he was off for a couple of days for xmas but he would call us back. He did and said store policy was NOT to refund delivery fees, even though he told us previously we'd get a full refund (including delivery). We said we wanted him to honor his commitment for a full refund. He refused. We said we'd take it up with our credit card company and our attorney, and ended the call. He called back later and said he would honor his original offer and give us a full refund.It's December 30th and we are expecting the refund.Mega Furniture Response

We went to Mega Furniture after we canceled ****** Furniture because they didnt honor their delivery date.******* was fantastic. She was fast, knowledgeable and very polite. Better priced than ******************** definitely recommend shopping there.Mega Furniture Response
