            April 8th, 2021, $440.00 was charged to my card for a new garage door opener after paying $75 to my home warranty for the repair. Smokey's committed to submit a new garage door opener request to American Home Shield. On April 10th I was told the Repair replacement request was never sent to the authorization department of my home warranty company. I would like a reimbursement of the funds paid to Smokey's $440 that my home warranty company was supposed to pay. A copy of the **** of sale that wasn't provided as proof of payment. When I contact Smokey's on April 12th owner ***** declined on a refund and receipt and hung up on me. They misinformed AHS on the same day saying I cancelled my warranty. To date AHS will not return my calls neither does Smokey's Garage Door Repair.

            Smokey's was sent out to us by our warranty company to repair a garage door opener that was intermittent. The tech spent just 10-minutes to troubleshoot the issue which he could not replicate and to lube and make adjustments to the garage door opener. After his adjustments the problem became much worse. We left a message with Smokey's to request a return visit and they did not reply. After a day passed, we again called Smokey's and spoke with a very rude individual who would offer no better than a 6-day wait for the next service visit even though their tech made the issue worse. We promptly called our warranty company and requested a change to a reputable garage door contractor. The new contractor came out the next morning (on a Saturday) and immediately diagnosed the problem which they are correcting.
