The Fallowfield Tree Farm, among many services, offers sleigh rides during winter. One of the very few farms, they still having beautiful massive Clydesdale horses pulling sleigh. The farm also offers pony rides, a big hit with kids. There is a regular size pony and two miniature ponies that delight children and their parents alike. All animals are well cared for including the horses that rest after each tour. Beside ponies, on hand to be petted are a picturesque sheep and a reddish goat. There are also two commercial grade bouncy castles for kids to play. Small hill with two slides offers adventure for kids and parents. There was a bonfire to warm up, hot cocoa, and marshmallows to roast. The farm offers for rent a warm space with rather rustic charm, where one can eat, drink and chat with friends. With so few farms offering rides and most using tractors to pull sleighs, it was refreshing to recall good old times and being close to animals. The farm owner ***** offers rides, ***** assists with animals and pony rides and ******, is the heart of the operation. All of them very amiable, easy going and professional! It is rare to see such a well-run and caring operation nearby. The farm is fully insured.
