Very happy with the service from Mentor Homes. I needed ***** troughs. Dealt directly with the owner who came to see what was needed. The quote was 40% less expensive than a quote from another company. Alternatives were offered, The work was done within the time that had been estimated. The staff was most friendly and helpful. Mentor was a total pro in our experiences with him. We had a lot of problems with our eavestrough that he took care of and have had no problems since. He was also a great communication which is not always the case with contractors. Thanks!Review from Stacey O

They were great at communicating and executing the job. It was super easy to make an appointment and they gave me a day where there was a relatively open window. It was about 4 week from getting a quote to the finished project. Will definitely recommend them.Review from Julie H

Mentor came to do siding and eaves, looks fantastic, very personable, great work ethic would recommend to anyone, very happy with finished product!!

While Mentor homes is prompt and courteous I have had issues with my eaves trough. I had siding ,facia and eaves trough replaced. The demolition of the old siding was sloppy and resulted In my new handrail to my front steps being sheered off due to the falling debris from the roof. I had it repaired and they still continued to do until I stopped it and shrouded it in protective foam. It was fortunate that I covered the a.c. unit before it was hit again by falling debris. As a customer I should not have had to do any of this! Unfortunately my facia board was repositioned as part of the job which resulted in a wavy edge which ultimately left gaps between the new facia and new evastrough resulting in water running between the facia and trough in certain places. When I initially questioned this the reply was…You will never see this…. There were other areas where the tin work was sloppy as well leaving bare wood of the house exposed to the elements. In my case I felt like it was a quick job for them and attention to detail was lacking.Mentor Homes Response

Hello Mr. O** We appreciate the feed back and we do sincerely apologize for the issues. Yes we did damage the railing by accident both times, and you were reimbursed. We may had made some mistakes and we had been back to repair/replace the issues. We stand by our warranty and we would come back again to fix any issues. As per the leak as mentioned when we met due to heavy rain water can not enter the eavestroughs fast enough with the gutter guards that were installed by you 3-4months after the job was completed. Every time you had a question or concern I made the effort to come And see you and make sure everything was resolved. Again we do apologize and this feedback is definitely something that will help us improve.
