    I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Parkview Movers to pack and move my belongings, and I must say, it was a complete disaster. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about the lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by this company.First and foremost, the movers failed to pack my belongings properly, resulting in significant damage to both my front door and my TV. It was disheartening to see the carelessness with which they handled my valuable items. When I brought up the issue, they seemed to think it was no big deal and brushed it off, which was insulting. The packers put perishable food in boxes labelled misc. In boxes there was broken glass and lightbulbs. They then overcharged me for packing saying they packed more than they actually did. To add insult to injury, the movers left an entire garage full of furniture behind, despite it being clearly stated in the contract that everything was to be moved. Not only did they leave it behind, but they also had the audacity to charge me extra to move it the next day. This was a clear breach of our agreement, and I was left feeling deceived and taken advantage of. They moved it the next day but charged me an extra $600 which I didnt agree to. When I asked them to discuss the charges, they threatened to put a lien on my property. Then they gave me to the end of the day to pay a settlement which was higher than the actual costs. When I replied with my breakdown of actual costs, they said they were sending my account to a collection agency. This is a few days after I got their invoice. Which I said I would pay. But they wanted the inflated and added costs. The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by Parkview Movers is truly disappointing. I expected a reliable and trustworthy service, but instead, I got stress and inflated expenses. It's crucial for others to be aware of these issues before considering hiring this company.

    The packers on the first day didnt finish the pack so 4 of us returned the next day during the move and completed the pack. The ** in question was to be moved by you not by us and was not packed. It was sitting in the living room on the floor you claim one of us stepped on it. We agreed to replace it, a new one in the box is $380.00+ Tax You first sent a messagesaying the** was worth "A few thousand dollars".Then you sent some kind of fake receipt which showed a price of over $800, keep in mind the ** is 7 years old.The door we agreed to pay to repair and deal with the new homeowners on, again you tried to overinflate the costs.As for the furniture in the garage we offered to do a 2nd trip that day but you denied it saying you didnt want to be there all night. So we agreed to move the items the next day. You agreed to pay for that move as you would have been charged to move the items the first day if we did a 2nd trip anyways.The estimate for your job was$6,531.40the cost of your move was$5,825.15You decided that you would pay$3,870.60 so you were compensated a totalof $1,954.55 for a moldy loaf of bread a 400 $ tv and damaged door that the new owner wanted 400 to repair. I think we are the ones who were deceived and taken advantage of.To be honest this move could have gone better and there were some issues on our end. We make sure to be fair with everyone but your overinflated values and instant demand for money made this into an even worse experience. At the end of the day, all of your items are moved to your new home and you have been well compensated for the damage caused.
