Hi! I have been getting spam calls on my ******** number ever since I got domain service from you. This is really frustrating and Im not sure why my information was sold without my consent. This is a serious breach of my privacy and since no action has been taken from your end. There has been a serious breach in privacy policy and these guys have sold my information to people without my knowledge and now they keep calling me every single day for selling. The reason why you are targetted by those spam calls probably stems from when you first purchased your domain. As we discussed, it was not protected by domain privacy protection. For certain domain extensions (e.g. .COM) at registration, the registrant's contact information becomes publicly available via the ***** database if the registrant doesn't buy ID protection. ***** is accessible to the public and spammers know and use it as a database. This is standard practice across the domain registration industry and is not specific to WHC. Unfortunately, once your information is public, it's harder to control spams. Although you added domain privacy protection shortly after your registration, this measure only hides your information in future ***** searches and does not remove previously collected data.
