      The one-star ratings are too generous (but the minimum you can give is 1-star). My wife is a retired **** employee. After her retirement, she continued to pay premiums directly to Coughlin for family health coverage. When Coughlin switched to ***** Health the coordination of benefits with my company's SunLife plan stopped working without explanation.It's very difficult (approaching impossible) to reach anyone, ever in the Coughlin office to problem solve the situation. Even when paper claims are submitted, reimbursement is rejected. Telephone, email and in-person visits to their office are fruitless.These are all routine healthcare expenses (dental hygiene, basic meds, etc.). Nothing unusual.I've never encountered an organization with poorer customer service and zero employee accountability.

      Horrible place to deal with. My father passed away in March. I have been trying to get his pension sorted out for my mother. Havent received anything yet. Called a few times and left a message because they never answer their phones. They dont even return the phone calls.

      Terrible waiting times. waited 55 minutes on the phone to speak to a representative on a late assessment and payment, They promised to deal with it the same day. They never did. Same story every claim.

      After being obliged (by employment) to be a client of this company for the past 23 years I recently made the switch to them as a retiree. We ran into immediate problems with them as they failed to process our last large claim with them. We ran into further problems as the company claimed our pre authorized payment and deposit arrangements were incorrect (despite us hand delivering a void cheque to their drop box). When I tried to inquire about all of this I found it impossible to physically speak to someone in their group administration because their offices have been closed since the start of COVID and despite the lifting of restrictions they have failed to open their site. When you call the number they provide in their own letters you are placed on hold with a repeating message that they are "experiencing a high volume of calls" and that if you leave a message they will "return your call in one business day". Needless to say, after leaving said message over a week ago no one ever got back to me. This is some of the most abysmal client service I have ever received in 35 years of service to two professions.
