Of the many storage facilities I have rented over the years, Central Self Storage is by far the worst. Our unit, and many others, were broken into. We were not informed of this and discovered it ourselves. I imagine many of the victims (the burglaries appear ongoing) still do not realize how widespread this problem is. There's never anyone working on site during posted hours. The doors are constantly broken or stuck open. The alarms are always going off with no response. And when you need help, there's no one to call or contact during business hours - or after. I couldn't get ahold of someone to inform them of the burglary, and after a dozen calls and emails they have never responded (two months later). Central Self Storage is either incompetent or criminally negligent. I can't decide which. They even had the gall to raise our rent a month after the burglary. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT RENT HERE! This company is shady and is using the previous owner's listing on ****** Maps in order to falsify positive reviews. I have reported this to ****** Maps to no avail. As you'll see from any review within the last year the current owners are awful.
