Date 4-16-22. Hired what I thought was reputable moving company. Was reassured all my heavy expensive items would all be wrapped and taken good care of and no damage would happen. Was told flat fee of a $196 an hour was not told about any extras. Only shrink wrapped one wooden bin that was free and 2 wooden dressers did not wrap or use moving blankets on any of the expensive furnitureCharged me extra for shrink wrap. Charged me 2 hours of drivetime to and from location from ****** when I live in ****** and they have their office in ****** and Salem. Tore up $3000 ******* refrigerator scratched up small stainless steel refrigerator. Damaged deck and deck railing damaged front door and Casing around front door. Damaged hardwood flooring. Scratched up $7000 leather sectional couch, Took Wood chunks out of my bedroom furniture set dressers and bed frame. Then charged me $1350 for the move and tearing up of all of my furniture. Then told me I could not file a complaint until I paid the ****. When I asked them if they'd like something to drink they asked for alcohol then proceeded to talk about smoking marijuana after work. I was so upset by the time they left I was crying wrote them a check just to get them out of my house canceled the check the following Monday. Have contacted company told them everything they refuse to compensate for anything.
