Enterprise car rental says I needed a major credit card or a debt card that is linked to my checking account I don't have a credit card but a debt card with checking but I have a Washington license drivers license and they said I can't rent a car through them. but I have rented through them plenty of times and never had any issues what makes today any different as those in the past I only rent through them on day anyways and also some of us don't have credit card so I don't know what there malfunction is

We rented a car, but due to an hour flight delay, we arrived at the airport after the rental counter had closed. Because our hotel was an hour away, we sat around  for hours waiting for the counter to open. We thought maybe we were in luck that a couple of employees showed up at 4 instead of 530, when the website states they open. However, they refused to give us the keys to our rental, even though it was paid IN FULL, and made us wait until they opened at 530. It was reserved for the whole weekend, so why not let us have the keys asap? It's not like we were going to have to see if they still had a car available. The employees were extremely rude, and when I called the night before to let them know we were delayed, I could only reach their corporate number and was told that they could not reach the local counter to inform them of the delay. What?! How can a company not reach its own branch?! We were finally able to reach the local office by contacting the airport directly, but they apparently don't answer at 8pm, even though they supposedly are open until 1am. Don't do business with this company! It's not worth the headache and attitudes.
