While the staff was considerate and helpful, we had to put our 6 lb Chihuahua to sleep last week. They did no lab tests just physical exam and charged $600 to dispose of her remains. THIS IS WAY OUT OF LINE.

Extremely expensive, over $2,000 and did not treat my dog for anything. They just run a bunch of pricey tests and gave us the diagnosis that a foreign object was in her stomach. They wanted an additional $4,000-$6,000 to do a surgery. We took her to another vet who said there wasn't any blockage in her stomach. He treated her for pancreatitis and she was fine.

Those office is extremely unprofessional. I will never take my pet there again. Over priced, extreme wait time, rude front desk, misleading about no fee for exam. The first thing they wanted was $200 to look at my dog. No fee is false advertisement. When I looked shocked and I went to my car to call to see if I could get the money from a friend and then I left to get the money the front desk girl said she was going to call the police if I didn't turn around immediately and come back. I was devastating. The police??? why? They did have my precious dog and I went back. Then the doctors wouldn't look at her and had some tech treat her for low sugar and she came to speak to me and offered to just put her down. What? Are you kidding me? No way. I brought her home gave her some honey to bring her glucose up and she was in the back yard playing.

Came in with a sick cockatiel and informed them it was an emergency, they asked for a $200 down payment before they ever looked at him. Called once after he was dropped off to ask a bunch of questions I had already filled a paper out for. Called several hours later to say they had to empty his crop (which was $40) and that he would need an X-ray, which would be another $400. Received another call after that saying that he would need a scope and extraction for a foreign object they found in his stomach but they didn't have access to the materials needed for that procedure till late into the next week and he likely wouldn't make it that long. I would need to make the 2 hour drive up to the hospital to pick him up myself and take him to the ************* veterinarian hospital. When I asked why they, an emergency *** clinic, could not rush him there themselves, they simply gave me a long pause and said they "didn't offer that service" and I would need to pay another $400 for the procedure. I was told he had to be put in an oxygen chamber but they would give me the "courtesy" of not making me pay an overnight fee. I told them I would just get him the next morning and after confirming the next day with them over the phone, they told me he had already passed and I would need to pay the rest of the bill as soon as I got to the clinic.

I brought my puppy that has parvo in to see the vet after hours. I paid 245.00 for the visit and a parvo test a was waiting outside because I was told to. I noticed that 2 more people came in before me and the vet tech took them in right away. When I was standing there asking when will I be seen? The receptionist said I don't know how long as you can see two more people came in. I said I was next. she said well I'll check for the tech to come see you. The receptionist was laughing as I was walking out back to my truck. Then I went back in and she had a smurk on her face like it's my fault or like I was a bothersome. I've called south side emergency room for pets but they were booked. So now I'm at the mercy of this hospital. I don't have money I barely get by with what I have. This (putting it nicely) employee I said that isn't fair my dog it throwing up I need to see someone now. Finally they came out for less then a minute gave the dog the test and said it will be about twenty mins. So as my puppy is dieing and I paid by credit card. With no money in hand. They had better do something to save this dogs life. On the ad it states we don't go up in prices I honestly think they lied. Anyways the tech came out and said it'll cost $400 to $500 for In-Home Care if you're going to pay that what are they going to do for me for $400 to 500 if I'm going to care for this dog at my own place? This is ********.

I messaged ***** via ******** messenger after attempting multiple times to call and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I did this ahead of time since Id be driving from an hour away to ask about upfront costs. I was told an exam was $130 and that there was no way to give an estimate beyond that until they could examine my animal. I also asked about wait times and was told it just depended on how busy they got. Ok fair enough. I drove an hour to see them, when I arrived they took my animal and got me checked in, brought him back saying he was stable and put me in a room, where I waited for an hour and twenty minutes before anyone came to talk to me. When they did they informed me that at this point if I wanted to know what was wrong or the course of treatment I would have to pay a $200 dollar deposit before the doctor would even come in to speak with me. I said that was never mentioned and that was ridiculous I didnt even know what it is I was paying for. They refused to see me and said I could pay it or leave. So as a concerned and frightened owner of a beloved pet who just drove an hour away and waited more than an additional hour to be seen, my mind was racing with thoughts of how they know Im concerned and they know my dog needs help but they got me here and now are dangling my pets well being over my head in order to get money. At this point I asked to speak to a manager. The manager then sent the same girl back to me rather than coming to speak with me herself saying shed allow the doctor to come speak with me but they would not do anything else before I paid up front. Which is what should have happened from the start. You cant be expected to pay up front when you arent even aware of what is going on. The fact that they operate there business in such a manner as to hold people hostage for payment before telling them what's wrong or what expectations they can have on the cost of treatment is ridiculous, and bordering on extortion.

Very upset that this place is now requiring a ****** down payment on any exam before they will even see your pet. We have been coming here for a few years now since my dog has a very life threatening condition. His condition required monthly shots to keep him alive. Our vets in ******* do not carry the medicine he needs because there is no need for it. So I drive 80 miles monthly so that my dog can live. So Im so glad they did this. Now those of us who are on a very limited income can not have our animals seen and essentially my dog will suffer a terrible and painful death because of this policy. Its not right. Especially for those returning loyal customers.

Beware of this office, it is a chop shop at best. They used my concern for my pets illness to try to make money. The people running this facility should be ashamed. Don't be fooled by the exterior and drop off requirements. They cut up my elderly dog's abdomen shaving her and sedated her with a narcotic without my consent. Luckily, I was able to come inside to comfort my dogs anxiety (that they caused) and see the dirty rooms and dead animals lining the halls. Thankfully I had enough sense to get out of this dirty office and take my dog back to her primary vet who took one look at the scans and diagnosed my dog with lymphoma. These eggheads were recommending exploratory surgery on a 16 year old dog, shame on them for having no heart and taking advantage of people in need of help! I am happy I got the needed tests done to get a diagnosis from a real veterinarian but please don't subject your pet to these people.

Absolutely HORRIFIC! I have never been so mad in my life. My female was in labor and one of the puppies was stuck. They wanted $381 to run tests then called to tell me I needed to pay $2000 before they would do a csection. I told them to **** me because I dont just have $2000 laying here. They proceeded to give me my dog back with a puppy stuck inside her. They were hateful (so was I because I was angry). I was laughed at while I cried and told have a nice life as I walked away in tears. I am just appalled at how they treat their customers and will make sure none of my contacts ever use them again! Unreal!
