I found this school because I was interested in finding a career behind the scenes in healthcare. I was to pursue nursing but was feeling conflicted because I am more introverted and prefer non-direct patient care. I was under the impression that this was a great school and they were very kind to me in the beginning. I was put on a waitlist to be told to wait until middle of October. However, I heard that medical coding jobs were hard to find even without experience even though this school says otherwise. So, I was doing my research about nursing vs medical coding. ***** told me that my posts in her FB group were abusive to the medical coders. But you can see my posts in the description below. I was simply weighing pros and cons of each career and looking for honest feedback from others. No harm in that. I was doing my research which by the way ***** insists on. Here's a direct quote from pre-enrollment form I submitted and her response about my research, "You are safe here. No pressure. In fact, we recommend not enrolling in any program until you are so sure that it's right for you that nobody could talk you out of it. YOU will know if our program is right for you, and if you do, we'll be ready to welcome you." There was another review of this school, one that I saw before but disregarded it. However, I came back to it after this experience I faced and it seems very similar. They seem very sensitive about their FB page. If you say something on there questioning anything, they will dismiss you. They encourage you to ask questions but when you do, you're gone. Here's another direct quote "It is not my practice to tell people whether or not they are a good fit for a medical coding career." I was told I'm not a good fit AFTER my FB posts but, BEFORE them I was allowed to apply.I gave up my nursing program to pursue this career, then ***** emails me telling me they deny my application for asking questions on FB. Wow! I recommended this school for so many people!
