I would not recommend D&F Plumbing as their business practices are misleading. They did not make it clear that the "estimate" was the final price no matter the work that was actually done.The plumber was great and the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. Absolutely no complaints about him or his work. We had them out for a price estimate on a burst pipe. They gave us an estimate of $1500 (half of which we paid up front). The person giving the estimate was not the plumber actually doing the job. A month later the plumber came. It took him 1 hour and a piece that cost $50 to fix. If we had paid an hourly plumber we would have paid $400 **** When I called the company afterwards they said that they way the operate their "up front pricing" is that whatever you are quoted at the beginning is what you pay whether or not the job equals the standard hourly rate of pay or not. This could work out better for you if the job is a lot more work than expected but in our case we were price gouged.Review from Shelley W

I am a returning customer of ******************** - having used them as part of remodel / construction. Good work and affordable. I called for a cartridge replacement on a shower. They charged me nearly $1000 for less than 1 hour work. I called and asked them to reduce the amount. They said they quote on regional quotes for the work. I had watched a ******* on replacing it and it looked fairly straightforward. I have no plans to use them again based on what I think is unfair charging and their inability to explain why I need to pay $250 for every 15 minutes.Review from Jess A

D&F was prompt and fixed our slow flow problem. Pricing was upfront and they even replaced an extra part they found was corroded without an extra charge. The plumber, *****, was friendly. I'll definitely recommend D&F to friends and family.Review from Sandra C

Ask for ******! He was fantastic. It wasn't a repair I wanted to make, but I had used a competitor in the past and they didn't seem to know what they were doing. ****** as wonderful. It took less than three hours and the problem was solved. He was confident and a real plumber. I don't think the people from the other company were actually *************.
