My Air Conditioner at my rental property went out a little over a week ago. I have 4 small children and it is the middle of the summer. There was no sense of urgency when I reported it to have anyone come out and have it fixed. Two days later they sent a number for me to call to have someone come out. They weren't available until 6/14. The next day Another company was called and came an found that the compressor was out and a part needed to be ordered. This was on a Friday.(I will add that after I complained that they didn't seem to care about the fact that I had no Ac and that there was no sense of urgency in sight I was given one window unit for a 2400 sq ft home) Monday the company texted ME and asked if i had an update to give THEM about the Ac which goes to show me that the company that came out and this property management company had not coordinated which means that no services would be taking place anytime soon! Fast forward to yesterday, I received another text asking for another update from The property management company. Which means that a week later, there has been no progress made with my issue. Around 5pm I received a phone call that i would need to vacate the property because the owner all of the sudden has decided to sell. So instead of fixing the issue or at least showing a bit of remorse or an ounce of care, I've been displaced as well. This company does not truly care about the tenants and I would NEVER rent from Or recommend them to anyone.

***** I regret you have had an unpleasant experience. I did check into the situation, and I am actually the one who delivered the portable unit to you once the home warranty company could not get the A/C repaired timely. Our company has portable A/C units that we make available in cases where the A/C cannot be repaired quickly because a part has to be ordered or a unit needs replaced. At the home you rented, the owner has a home warranty on the property which is completely out of our control. Since the home warranty company would not respond quickly, we called the owner, and he ended up going around the home warranty company and having the unit replaced at his expense instead of getting the benefit of the policy he paid for.

I understand the other reason you feel as though you have had an unpleasant experience is because the owner made a decision to sell his home because the housing market is at an all-time high - I reviewed your emails to our property manager. You were on a month to month basis because your lease agreement had expired, and the owner decided he wanted to sell his property. We are required to carry out all lawful instructions, and although inconvenient for you, the owner does have the right to sell his property. You were also given more time than the required notice by state law. If you have any additional questions that we have not already discussed, please call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Scott ******
