I had my truck in for brake pads to be replaced at the end of last year. Had problems as soon as I left. Caliper sticking and causing smoke as they were getting hot. I already took the truck back once and they said it was fine, and they didn't simulate problem. The truck sat over winter until this past week. It still isn't fine. Took it for a drive and less than a mile up the road it was smoking and getting burning hot. Last night I found a key piece of hardware missing holding in the caliper. I message their page, also mention another issue on something they "fixed", and instead of taking any responsibility he blamed an ex employee who never touched the brakes and hasn't worked there in over a year. Then he went on to complain about a review with criticism of them I left on ****** a few days prior. Then just claimed they don't work on anything that old anymore(1986), something that's never been stated before. At the moment there has been no resolution. To top it off he apparently then blocked me from liking or commenting on any post on their business page, maybe out of spite. It won't let me leave any reviews either. I found this all to be very hurtful and unprofessional.

As the owner of Lonsbury Garage, I have stated that I take ownership of my employee's faults with this said issue and apologized several times. We have refunded the full amount from the repairs made and will gladly install new brake hardware if the customer is willing to bring the truck back. If not the refunded amount is more than enough to replace the brake caliper and hardware as well as new brake pads. If there are any further issues please reach out to me at 260-665-5165
