My 2016 *** ****** went into limp mode I took the vehicle to *** mufflers and brake for repair they informed me that the vehicle would need new vvt sensors a oil change and a tune up. I was charged $533.45 for all the repairs upon picking up my vehicle it went back into limp mode I immediately returned the vehicle to USA muffler and brake where I was then told that I need to take my vehicle to a *** ********** and that my motor was under recall. I took my vehicle to ************************************** In. Where I was informed that there is no specific code for a vvt sensor change on my 2016 *** ****** and and yes there is a recall on my motor and that there was no need for any repairs on the motor due to the manufacturer recall! I returned to USA muffler and brakes and asked the manager for a explanation for the unnecessary repairs and expenses. He repeatedly stated that due to a code that appeared he changed the vvt sensors. Then he stated that he had the same issue with a *** prior to mine. I then asked if you had the same issue and knowing that my engine had a recall on it and the repairs that were made were unnecessary why would you do them. He then stated get the f**k out of here and walked away from the desk. I also informed him that I would be taking legal action. My vehicle is currently with ************************************** In awaiting the new motor
