I told them that I had swapped wheels on my Tundra with another Tundra and asked them to re-sync the ***** They didn't but made me pay $188 anyway. I asked them to reduce the amount, they refused. I called back when I calmed down and was able to discuss more rationally. Didn't care. Also, they charged an additional 3% to my credit card without telling me they were going to. Their response: we have this little card on our counter that says we're charging you. *** was kind enough to remove the stuff covering it over to show it to me. Doesn't seem like something a business who cares about customers does, but that's just my opinion. I see the other posts where they ask people to call them. They know who I am, been there, done that, not wasting my time.Review from Erika N

If I could give them no stars, I would. My husband was looking to buy a truck. He found one he liked online. He had gone to previously lots of trucks he liked, and everything was good with the vehicles. So he didn't see anything wrong with reaching out about the vehicle even though it was 2 hours away from where we stayed. We were in *******. They told ** it would be a ***** deposit to hold the vehicle. We got back home and my husband went to look at the vehicle. It was a 2021 Cheverolet Red Tahoe. The vin# is *****************. The truck had numerous scratches that looked like they had been covered up but with another color of red paint. It was just one or two. We have a text message from the salesperson that states they even though it looked bad. So you asked for a deposit for a vehicle you thought looked bad in person. This is what i call an unethical sales practice. Why did you not disclose this information before the deposit? So of course, they are stating they cannot return the $***** but they can cover the scratches with more paint. The truck cost over $50,000. Who would buy a $50,000 vehicle that has been patched up and doesn't look cohesive? It is very hard to make money these days, but these are the times we live in.Please do NOT buy a car or give them a deposit if you have not seen the vehicle in person. The salespeople are not honest, and the bumper could be fallen off and they will not tell you. They are probably using his deposit to fix the issues with the truck if it's not going in their pockets. I guess this is needed when you can't make honest sales. The salespersons name is *******************************.Review from Nisha T.

I purchased my Infiniti in December of 2021 from **** Penney. I was very excited but also nervous. As I drove it home I took my children by their favorite restaurant and realized that my driver window was slowly coming back up. I let it down again and it got stuck. I had to use my hand to force the window back up. I tried the same thing with the passenger window and it did the same thing. I called my salesman the next day he told me to bring it by. I did. They service **** looked at it and told me that the motors in both windows were going bad. He said that it is a safety issue and because of that they would have to fix it for me. I was ok with that. I left thinking that they were ordering parts and were going to contact me again in 7 days. I waited 8 and called back. No answer so I drove myself back to the service ****, to be told that the parts were on back order. About a month later I had an accident that damaged my front end and thought well since the truck has to go to the shop anyway let me see if my window parts came in to get it all done at one time. Since **** Penney Collision is fixing it. I called my salesman back to see if the parts for my window came in and he proceeds to tell me that the manager who approved the parts to be ordered, doesnt want to order them because the motor for each window is over $600 and he cant find any cheaper. Then said to file it on my insurance with my accident. I was so UPSET that a member of leadership would instruct a customer to get involved with insurance fraud. I just let it go. I ADMIT, I shouldnt have. Once I picked up my truck from collision in April or late March, my check engine light came on. I knew that it couldnt have been caused by the accident because the damage was very little. So Collision ran a diagnostic report and it came back with 2-3 SAFETY recalls that were never done as well as other issues. Infiniti told me that the truck should have never been sold with safety recalls after it has been traded inBill Penney Toyota Response

I purchased a car (used ******* from ******************* Toyota on 4/30/22. It was agreed upon and paperwork signed that additional work would be done (fix a crack on the windshield, buff out some scratches, and fix some dents). I worked with the sales guy via text (which I still have) and finally got this scheduled for 7/14/22. I text him the day of the appointment to let him know I was headed there as it takes over an hour to get there. I never got a response. I get there and THEN he tells me that the guys that have to work on the windshield and the dents are not there. He takes my car to have them buff it. I never could tell anything was done. He then proceeds to tell me he "doesn't know when the work can be scheduled". I was in disbelief I would be treated this way. I leave and notice there's a NEW dent on my car. I am very unsatisfied and will NOT use them again and will discourage all my friends from going there. He knew up front I was coming from over an hour away and never bothered to tell me that it would be a pointless trip.Bill Penney Toyota Response

Buyer Beware!!! I recently bought a 2022 Toyota Corolla at ******************* Toyota. The car was the biggest rip off I ever witnessed on a vehicle. I originally went into the dealership on June 14th, 2022. I picked up the car on Tuesday the 28th after calling the dealership several times on Monday finding out they received the car last Saturday. I will disclose the illegal tactic of them using an illegal strategy of something call PAYMENT PACKING when presenting the payment for a vehicle to finance with them. I am disclosing here on social media all the evidence of the **** price for the car as well as the extra nearly $11,000 on top of the original **** out the door price they charged from start to finish selling me a car. If I could I would give them negative stars. This platform only allows you to give 1 star which is not even warranted. They also said in the contract that I had received the car on June 14th, 2022 although it was not coming in until June 28th, 2022. The payment is due now only 2 weeks after receiving the vehicle when it should be at least 30 days. I was planning on buying a truck next year for myself and giving the Corolla to my wife. But after getting ripped off so horribly by ******************* Toyota I will be looking to do business elsewhere. If you have any questions as a buyer how not to get ripped off in the future from them please comment below. It is like a bait and switch they show me online the **** price of $21,958 that enticed me to even go to the dealership in the first place. Then they said that vehicle online was unavailable. The only Corollas they had on the lot were 2022 Corolla SE's. They tried to sale me one of those but all I wanted was an LE. I see an **** price I want for a 2022 Bluish Corolla LE at a price tag of $23,145. Out the door price then jumped to $34,154.78. Price gouging at it's best. Go in to pay just under 22k then go out the door with over 34k.Bill Penney Toyota Response

Mr. *********** was explained all market pricing prior to arriving to **** Penney thru text messaging. Originally he was interested in a SE model and decided to go with the LE model. He signed all the documentation with the sales price prior to entering our business office. Once in the business office additional coverages were presented and purchased. These additional coverages and warranties are what increased the total price.Review from Brantley B

Bought a black Kia soul in November. Gary the manager of used department did a contract to replace shifter. I have to put a pen in it to shift and also can shift without foot on brake. He took it for four days said nothing was wrong which he lied. It's still acting up on me and unsafe to drive. They took advantage of me knowing I'm a mechanic myselfBill Penney Toyota Response

The Kia in question is 100% AS/IS and we let him know that upfront and we also gave Mr. ******** the right to get the Kia inspected from a 3rd party. We gave him a 30 day due bill to look at the shift lock and advise, it took Mr. ******** 3mos to bring the Kia back to the store for this issue. We looked at the Kia for three days and we couldn't duplicate. We consider this case closed.Customer Response

The vehicle was AS/IS the day of purchase I was aware. But before I signed any paper work that binded me to this lemon I noticed the check engine light was on during inspection. The salesman named Trey said oh it's on because the shifter. At that moment I noticed the shift lock cover was missing revealing a hole. So I concluded something was not right here with the shifter. Trey informed Gary of the shifter before anything was signed. Oh don't worry Mr ***** we will take care of that for you immediately. I will give you a call later when part is in Mr *****. So I called for weeks on end over and over and worked my way up the chain. Every time I called they would say we don't know what you are talking about? We will check on that and get back with you on it. Never happened until one day I got in touch with Gary. He said oh just bring it up here we will look at it. After 4 days I was informed it worked fine and they just blew debris out of the hole. That same day I took it from them it would not shift without using a screwdriver. Jay the mechanic said he drove it around the block and nothing was wrong with the transmission and he knew nothing about a shifter or the guarantee to fix it and that he will not do it or throw parts at it. So here I am today with a lemon and they want to close the case and wipe their hands clean from the vehicle.Customer Response

No verbal agreements honored only signed Due Bill accepted and agreed on by both parties. Before anyone purchases a preowned vehicle we give the right to inspect which you signed and this is when any problems are addressed.Review from Denise W
