Wow! Beaufort Rentals managed my property for over 8 years and I highly recommend that you look elsewhere to protect your investment. We purchased the home brand new and turned it over to Beaufort Rentals in pristine condition to manage when we moved overseas for six years. We returned to the property this year and walked through the house following a tenant vacancy. WE WERE APPALLED WITH THE CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY! We immediately notified Beaufort Rentals that they were no longer managing the property and we changed all of the locks. We hired ****************** (Veteran Owned) and paid out over $14,000 in repairs to make the home rental ready. Beaufort Rentals offered a mere $470 in return from the previous tenants security deposit! We've spoken to multiple military families in the Beaufort area that shared similar experiences with this management company, they also decided to switch management companies. If I'm expected to pay 10% management fees for a property that I'm unable to view due to being deployed/stationed across the globe, then I expect the company to protect my investment. I don't feel that this company is a good fit for military members that are unable to check in on the property routinely. I own multiple properties across the U.S. with over 25 years of active duty service. This review is my honest opinion based on my experience with multiple property management companies.
