My daughter and I hired River City Storage and Movers to load and unload boxes and furniture from our apartment on October 13 2022 to be placed in storage. There were three movers total the service was reserves under my daughter ******* ******. Our belongings stayed in storage for 7 months until we moves them. Upon entering the storage unit I noticed some things seem to be stacked incorrectly. We hired movers again to load and unload since everything was not being moved out of the storage I had to physically move the items to make sure of what was being loaded. My TV was laying facedown on the arm of my sofa with a carpet cleaner laying on top and two slipper chairs laying on top of that. The box spring bed frame was in pieces, it appears that the items had been thrown not placed in the unit as they should have been. I picked up boxes and glass was falling out of the bottom. There were oils in some that broken and staturated the box. My sofa was drug over the dirty floor leaving it filthy. I contacted River City on June 15th I spoke with ******* who stated it had been too long to file a complaint but he will have ** the contact resolution representative contact me he gave me a number *** *** **** to text the information and receipt to once the call ended. I have not heard from him or anyone else from the company. I want to be reimbursed for my 40 in smart TV and queen size box spring bed frame. Also my plates and glasses that were broken the cost to repair items that have been damaged.
