Hi, on 11 December 2023 we had Dran's Heating & A/C install a new natural gas furnace and a natural gas tankless water heater. On 13 December they came back out to fix a leak in the exhaust PVC. On 22 December they agreed it wasn't fixed and made the fix but also noted an error code on the gas furnace which they also stated they fixed. Again after a few ways it was not fixed and they agreed during the next visit on 11 Jan 24 which they attempted the fix. They made the fix by calling the manufacturing, doing research, and removing PVC shavings they left in the machine on 17 Jan. I thought that they made the fixes but then received the ******* *** **** on 5 Feb showing a use of 217 C** (the amount of natural gas used). The same month last year was 85 C** and I asked them to come do an assessment of why it was so high. The natural gas company came and checked the meter and didn't find a leak. After identifying it wasn't the meter or the natural gas company, Dran's came out again on 9 Feb, and found and fixed a leak coming out of the tankless water heater. The usage of C** is still not fixed and after doing my own research and talking to them, they won't do the combustion analysis test or the inlet pressure test on the equipment as required by the installation manual. Then tankless water heater wasn't installed correctly per the installation manual. The latest I received from them was they would call and schedule yet another fix which they haven't done. Ultimately, I just want working equipment that reduces or keeps the same the amount of *****.we replaced 20-30 year old equipment with higher efficiency equipment which should not have resulted in using 217C** compared to 85 C** last year with similar temperatures. No other changes to the house natural gas system.
