Overall a good experience. The packers, loaders and unloaders where great. Very professional, friendly, and efficient. Only a few small items damaged which is normal in my experience and no big deal to me. Well done Cliff and team. I spent a lot time researching and reading reviews since this is the first move I had to pay out of pocket. Its very interesting the differences in pricing and weight estimates between companies. Harrison's weight estimate was low by *** and therefore the final price was *** above the quote. Every company estimator told me they try to be within 10% of the weight so this wasn't even close but I expected as much, in fact one of the packers on day 1 of 2 told me the estimate would be well off.
My only compliant is that I seem to be missing a box or two. When they loaded my stuff not everything would fit into the truck due to the need for some strapping in order to secure things. Some boxes were placed into a smaller truck and then the driver oversaw the final strap down and added those boxes. After unpacking everything I'm missing a few things. I called the claims department and left a message which has yet to be returned. I then emailed the sales person/estimator and explained the situation. He forwarded the email to claims but I still haven't heard anything which is disappointing. All I've asked is that they look around their warehouse to see if there are any boxes with my name on them. I delayed this review in hopes that I would get a response from them and have nothing bad to say but they have not responded.
