I brought a handicap dodge caravan from them I told the guy I was buying it to start a business up he told me I would get a warranty on a transmission and engine how the never drive the vehicle but a few times once I started driving it it started having trouble with the transmission so right away I took it to who they advised me to they checked it out and said yes the transmission needs to be replace how the inspector saw my business name on my van and oh we do not cover commercial vehicles I stated that it’s in my name and I haven’t used it for business purposes he told me that they will not cover it flat it I haven’t drove this van 800 miles yet and the transmission is toast and they not trying to replace and I have a car note on it as well

My husband took his brand new tundra in to Checkered Flag Toyota for its first service. Truck was returned to him with loose nut logs and wheels that were not aligned. Every wheel had something wrong with it. Service manager offered to fill up his gas tank for his troubles. He asked to speak to the general manager, manager was gone for the day (appointment was at 1:45pm). General manager was supposed to call him and never did, it has been a week since this appointment and the most Checkered Flag Toyota has done is reply to my husbands review of the business with a “we acknowledge your review”. Returning a vehicle with loose tire is not only unacceptable, and on top of that, there is no regard towards the customers safety. Extremely dissatisfied with service AND dealership management.

I want you to be aware of dirty business practices at this dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I now view the Toyota brand differently based on the management of this dealership and instead of me happily purchasing an ****** truck, a greedy dealership who lowballed my trade by ***** has now made an enemy of the brand and the dealership. Here is my review: "Very deceptive business practice. Their "fixed/no haggle" price is designed to cheat the customer. In my situation I was forced to pay ***** over msrp which I agreed to. Then when they "valued" my trade they didn't even enter the correct options and offered me ***** less than market value. I countered the trade value then the manager came back even lower on the trade. Dealt with Celia ******** and a mystery manager who were rude and dismissive. Even today its pretty bold to lower a trade value because the customer countered. I asked for clarification on the offer and I was told the *** value was ** below what I had. I even proved that they did not enter the correct options in the valuation and Celia responded "I understand". It's amazing to me that they will pass up on a **** truck sale over ***** lowball trade offer. Avoid this place and don't fall for the "No Haggle" pricing."

I bought a used car through them and it was supposed to have bumper to bumper coverage for 12 months. I had the car less than a month and the transmission went. They sent me to **** who kept my car for a month because supposedly my transmission was lost. I got it back and six months later it went out again. I purchased a warranty that should have started in 2020 and they had some how managed to use it. I have another junk transmission again that has stopped working. I found this out today when I called my extended warranty company to see if I could pay the difference to have a new transmission installed. According to them instead of Toyota paying for their junk they had used my extended warranty in good faith. They told me when I had the second transmission put in they had taken care of it
instead they used my warranty without my permission.
