We have used Schaal Roofing to renovate our flat and pitched roofs over the past 14 years. Their work is always incredible with attention to detail and expertise that we have never experienced with prior roofing companies who have replaced and repaired roofs on our residential properties. The roofs that ***** Schaal, *****, the *******, and his crew have done for us over the years all remain in fantastic shape through some very harsh conditions. So, when we needed to reside our home, we called Schaal Roofing to see if they did siding, specifically, ***** ****** siding. We were very happy that ***** let us know they are experienced in installing ****** siding.The job was big. The old cedar siding and plywood underneath had extensive damage and required removal and replacement. ****** Waldo, and the crew worked every day with professionalism and attention to detail as if this was their home. The craftsmanship in the numerous cuts never varied. Even as the job extended, the team worked as engaged as Day 1 through a very hot summer.The crew works so well together and it was great to see the same crew that first worked on one of our roofs 14 years ago, still an expert crew, under ******* lead, working on this same property. ***** was on-site regularly and always a text away if we wanted to discuss anything.Most importantly, the integrity, honesty, and transparency of ***** and *****, right down through each crew member, is something you do not see regularly in business. The work looks fantastic. The site cleanup was thorough. ***** is such a busy and successful contractor with good reason- he does business the right way. The old way. ***** and his team are awesome. We had an old, rotted flat roof deck on our second floor. ***** gave us the most in-depth scope of work estimate compared to others. His team did the whole renovation in a day - from sunrise to sunset. Brand new rubber system, PVC railing, removed siding and roof shingles so they could flash underneath and add metal protection, and even hung a new door for free. Team cleaned up and left zero trace they were even here. Highly recommend *****.
