My daughter and I were very excited to eat here but left immediately when we were openly and unabashedly discriminated against by the staff.Some context: my toddler and I are both extremely tall. I am 7 and she is in the 150th for percentile at her age. When we asked for an adult meal and a childs meal, they told my daughter that she is too tall to receive the childrens price. Not that she was too old, but that any child over a certain height would be charged more.When I pointed out that I am seven feet tall and that she got her height from me, they acknowledged and confirmed that tall children would be charged more. I asked if I would have to pay more for being tall and they said that only tall children are charged extra.Again, just to be clear, my daughter was charged extra for being tall. They did not question her age or ask to see verification. They were comfortable telling me in no uncertain terms that they charge children extra if they are tall.I am disgusted, disappointed, and disheartened.

Worse experience Ever at FLAMMING WOK Chinese buffet in Newburgh!! I walk in with Son and the hosted says how is the boy. I replied hes 8. He shakes his head and say no, then walks around me to My son and says what year were you born? My looks at him like he has three heads. The guy repeats himself, what year were you born? I said my son doesnt know the year he was born ask him his age instead If u dont believe his own mother. Then he starts talking Chinese to the other hostess, so I said if you dont believe his own mother then charge me more if that will make you happier. Then for the 3rd time he said to my son what year were you born. At this point I was out raged. I said look my son is intellectually delayed he doesnt know what year he was born nor the month he was born. I threw there stupid plastic gloves on the table and said you know what this is ridiculous and the lady now began to threaten to call 911. I said call 911 so I can tell them how your treating us for a few dollar difference when Im clearing telling you my sons age and you continue questioning him for the year he was born. We walked out and I will never return again no matter how much I love Chinese food! Never again!!!! Next week Im gonna return with his birth certificate and ask for the manager and tell them how rude and incompetent the staff are.
