I have an Hyundai palisade 2023. Just recently the transmission blew at just ****** miles . The car was in the shop from mid June until July 27th. Once I picked up the car days later I received a call that the piece that was needed for the trunk was in and I needed to drop off the car again to be fixed . So I dropped it off today 8/10 at 7 am. They were supposed to fix the trunk and address the fact that my antifreeze has been leaking for a few days . The entire day went by I didnt receive any calls or updates about the status of the car so I proceeded to call to find out . When I called I was left on hold for a long time so I decided to drive there to see what was going on . When I got there they told me my car was un-drivable and needed to stay longer to be fixed . I was extremely upset at the fact that no one called me during the day to inform me of any unexpected delays . Furthermore I was told I could not be compensated with a rental car as my car was being held in the shop. This is very bad customer service on their behalf . They have the nerve to have trophies stating what great service they offer when in fact the service is unacceptable and below standards .Review from Danielle C

I truly cant believe the experience I just had leasing a new vehicle. We leased a brand new Hyundai Tucson, and the next morning realized it had a defect in the window when we saw it in the sunlight. They immediately took the car back and said they would replace it and give us a loaner. Upon getting the loaner back service had fixed the window, but scratched up and damaged our whole driver door! They again took the car back. Delivered it back and then the mirror was damaged! At this point the manager ***************** was involved trying to make it right and credited us a monthly payment for our frustration. We went to pick it up again and they wouldnt provide us with a receipt of the work done to the car! The sales rep ******* told us its to protect the car fax in other words hide the damage they have done, when I expressed my frustration with the service department yet again and how we couldnt get our car again with *** he told us we were beating them up and that he isnt a mind reader and how is he supposed to know we wanted a receipt of the work? Are you serious ? After service mangled our car numerous times, why wouldnt we want verification of the work done? Is that not standard ? So he basically is frustrated because we keep having an issue with the car, meanwhile its his service team that made all these mistakes and he just wants us to go away! Im absolutely disgusted with this dealership and will never go here again. They brought in all new people to improve the reputation of this place and its gotten even worse if that was possible. To blame a customer who only wants the car they purchased is extremely disgraceful behavior!Review from Holice J

One star is too high for this dealership. I am an 81-year-old senior, and I wanted to pay for my vehicle in full and they connived me into purchasing a warranty for an extra $7000 which I was unaware of as they gave me many different warranty options and told me it would save me money with the promotion they had if I financed opposed to paying for cash for my new 2024 Hyundai. My $23,135 window sticker for my 2024 Elantra SE came out to be $34,000. They tricked me into purchasing the vehicle at a higher price and hid the window sticker form me. They made error on my address, so I never received my finance bills, and they ended up repossessing my vehicle and had to pay over $300 to get me car back. I never received anything from finance company, no contract, no paperwork, no bills due to their error in them inputting incorrect address for me. I finally got a bill which was 2 months late after I called dealership for bank finance phone number for bank to correct and I was charged more money in late fees and interest and deteriorated my credit. They took complete advantage of me and have caused me more problems than ever expected. Horrific experience. They are thieves.Review from Soyuz S

They charged $2100 for brake pads, oil change, oil and cabin filter. I was told that the brakes would be changed but they only changed the pads. Do not trust them!Review from Needson D

These guys at Atlantic Hyundai (service department), especially ***************************, are ******, terrible and will take advantage of any unsuspecting customer.Do not do business with these people at Atlantic Hyundai.Run!!!!! DO NOT EVEN GO THERE!Review from Andreas A

****************** are thieves. And use scare tactics on people who don't have a clue about car mechanics. They write up receipts whith items that were not performed. I have proof on this took a picture of tire presure before bringing in and then a picture of when they returned car back i had 9 pounds of tire pressure lower on 2 opposite tires drivers side front and paasenfers side back. Receipts said they rotated tires and filled tire pressure. When i received car it was identical as it was when i dropped off. Which makes me wonder if they even changed the oil or oil filter, fluids were not topped off windshield fluid was almost empty.They don't wash cars ever as part of the incentive when you purchase a car.Today my wife brought in my daughter's car for oil change and the service mechanic was scaring them in getting 4 new tires and a wheel alignment along with cabin and engine filter which again new tires were installed in june of 2023 they have less then **** miles on them. Cabin and engine filter I changed less then a month ago. They were telling my daughter that car is very dangerous to drive with tires like that SCARE TACTICS uncalled for and unacceptable. They have lost my business. Considering i purchase over 8 cars from Hyundai.Review from Nicholas G

Just left the showroom after working with **** for an hour and forty minutesonly be told that the finance package for the car I wanted was not an option at allafter getting appropriately upset the well dressed bearded finance manager came out to talk to me. His first words to me wereok, heres the deal not Im sorry for the confusion and inconvenience for being lied to for an hour and a half. He then said, are you going to let me speak!? Which I repliedmaybe after an apology for being lied to for 90 minutes. He then smirked and said ** sorry and have a nice day. People going into this dealership should be prepared for these tactics, incompetence and complete lack of customer service. Think twice before you go this dealership. Would love to hear from owner if he is interested in making this right. **** and ****** have my info from my 315pm appointment on 1/2/24. Beware of this dealership!!!Atlantic Hyundai Response

In 2020, I leased a Hyundai Pallisade from Atlantic Hyundai. I loved the car and I decided to buy it.This was the start of a giant headache, and dealing with a service department that was rude, disrespectful and unwilling to communicate.In March 2023, it began to burn oil. I brought it to Atlantic Hyundai for an oil consumption test.I needed to make multiple trips back and forth and a series of issues ensued, including the ****************** not servicing my car on the scheduled appointment day because my car was a very involved issue and other cars were simple problems.This just prolonged the amount of time I was without a car.Their errors also added to more delays as they did not properly tamper seal the dipstick and over filled the oil which made it take longer to prove there was an issue.After multiple service visits, they finally acknowledged the car was improperly burning oil. Over the next few months, I had to constantly check on my cars oil level while waiting for the new engine to arrive, then on top of everything else, the power steering went in my car.It had to be towed back to Atlantic Hyundai and they replaced the power steering pack. Throughout all of these issues, the service manager and my service advisor would avoid my calls, and it was always difficult to get an update on my car.I would often have to call the sales department and have their manager get someone from service on the line or tell them if they didnt respond by the end of the day I would have to come down to the store to talk to someone in person. Once the engine was in I was told it would take two days to replace. It ended up taking over 10 days to complete. We picked up the car only to find out that they REBUILT the engine, even though told us through text messages that it would be replaced.I will never purchase another Hyundai or be a customer of the ********************** dealership again. The staff was deceitful and incompetent.Review from gary s
