This company should be banned from the Internet. Uncommon Goods signed me up for a membership I did not want. *** tried to cancel the membership three times unsuccessfully. I have tried to unsubscribe from their emails, also unsuccessfully. Uncommon Goods has said that my membership will auto renew and be charged. I do not want this. I have tried to cancel this and completely rid myself of Uncommon Goods, unsuccessfully.None of their unsubscribe or cancel features work. Uncommon Goods creates unwanted memberships, and then makes it impossible to cancel them. From my perspective, this borders on fraud.Review from Chanda E

I attempted to cancel an order per their website policy within less than 1 minute of placing the order. This company refused to cancel my order despite multiple attempts. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST business I have EVER dealt with. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. They took my money and sent me the product and refused to help. I AM NOT KIDDING. COMPLETELY AWFUL AND CRIMINAL. BBB Please consider giving them an "F" rating after a pattern of ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR towards MANY CUSTOMERS posting here and on other website reviews. THEY ARE CRIMINAL and SHOULD BE IN JAIL.Review from John M

Purchased an item on Black Friday. You would expect it could be labeled with a custom name and shipped before Christmas but its not the case what a waste of money when youd expect a company to be on top of this kind of thing. They also have no chat help whatsoever. There was nothing up front to also warn about long shipping times. Its just a Black Friday money grabUncommon Goods LLC Response

We offer a one-time price adjustment if an item is permanently marked down, within thirty (30) days of the date on your purchase.
To request a price adjustment, please send us an email at ******************************* within that thirty (30) day window. Include your order number and item name in your email message. First time customer and will never use again nor recommend to anyone. I purchased an item and paid for Expedited Shipping and checked out as a Guest. I dont have an account nor was there mention that I would become a member. Today, I woke up to a text from my bank showing a charge on my debit card but it said Ugperks in a different state from where I live. I didnt recognize it so thought this was fraud. my bank cancelled the card. Come to find out it was a membership charge from Uncommon Goods. I called customer service who right away said I was charged because I chose Free Shipping for my order, which is where he was telling me I agreed to a membership and that the information about it was in my order confirmation. I had to clarify that I paid Expedited Shipping, nor was there anything I agreed to regarding a membership. Besides that, the order confirmation did NOT have this info like he was claiming it did. I do have a separate email BUT it said that if I wanted a membership I would need to create an account. I did not create an account. I just checked on this by acting like I was placing an order and it is true, if you choose Free Shipping, you are agreeing to a membership. So this proves Uncommon Goods took it into their own hands and signed me up and didnt have the right to. Now because of them, I have to go through changing and updating every place that card was associated with. Plus, I have to find an alternate way to pay my bills until my new card is issued. I absolute love this shop!!!! I have been buying gifts for myself and others for years at Uncommon Goods, and have never been disappointed. This shop is curated so thoughtfully with unique and quality items, and the craftsmanship on the handmade items is top notch. They cover all the price points for everyone's budget, and the website will help you shop by categories for gifting. I have several items favored for myself and others (by name), so when I get a birthday alert on my phone, or from UG, I'm able to get something ordered and shipped - stress free. When I've had a concern or question about store items, the staff has been super friendly, efficient, and productive. I received one of their customized products as a gift. It's incredibly overpriced for what it is, but since it's customized, it can't be returned. Complete waste of money. I feel terrible for the purchaser having spent so much on clutter. The real problem, and the reason I'm on BBB, is that I tried to post a negative review on their website, and they rejected the review because "Your review was not directly about the product referenced and may have been about the shipping or service." My review had nothing to do with the shipping or service, and was simply and clearly about the quality and price of the product. They are quite obviously cherry picking good reviews for their website and hiding anything negative.Uncommon Goods LLC Response

It stated that 'the purchaser spent this much on it since they do not have a lot of money. I can't return it to give them a refund since it's customized. I'm not going to use it, so it's going in the back of my closet so that I don't have to look at it and feel bad'

I have ordered several times from uncommon goods And I must say I have been happy with everything I purchased. I did have trouble with a A personalized item And when I contacted customer service the problem was solved immediately. It was really nice to talk to a live person.
