I returned a dress with tags that had been only tried on. The company said they were retiring the dress as it had been worn and had makeup stains and perfume smell.?interesting as I do not wear makeup and allergic to perfumes.I expected so much more with this company.

I purchased 4 dresses at the end of July, a year ago. Since washing them several times, the fabric on all of the dresses have created a rippling. I have contacted and sent pictures of the dresses to the store in **********, where I purchased them. I was told sorry, you should have let us known sooner. I will say that the rippling has occurred overtime. I was ready to forgive them on the first dress but when all of them rippled, I had to reach out to the store in **********. The rippling has occurred this summer since wearing them more than late last summer. It was impossible to let them know of the fabric defect until it actually occurred. These 4 dresses that I purchased together, were not lined like Gretchen Scott dresses have been in the past. I own 15-20 Gretchen dresses. I don't appreciate after being a loyal and frequent customer with Gretchen Scott the only response was sorry, you should have told us sooner. I am not a customer that leaves reviews good or bad. If I have problem with someone or a business, I go right to the source. I felt that I was treated unfairly and this is why I am reporting them. I will be happy to send pictures of the defective dresses.
