ZERO! This vet had seen my pet before my visit to their facility August 5, 2023. I scheduled my dog for an appointment with the Cottonwood Animal Clinic for euthanasia due to awful circumstances. I had scheduled her once before due to a similar circumstance but desperately wanted to find an alternative. I failed. I had my pets bed and blanket on the floor and her in my lap when I was greeted by a tech and the office manager, not the vet speaking with me in a professional manner, and for 20 minutes they repeatedly asked me in varying ways not to follow through. Insensitive and unprofessional particularly given the vets knowledge of her history and torture. My tears were precisely what I did not want my loving pet to experience.They finally took her to the back clinic to put in the port and my girl tripped on the IV tubing dislodging it walking back to me. The tech stood over her and repositioned it telling the vet it was fine. Settled in my arms the vet proceeded and then stated the port was not correctly placed as I saw my dogs skin grow with the fluid under it. She took my dog back to fix it.After far too long the vet retrieved me saying we would have to proceed in there. I entered the area to see my pet on the cold floor so drugged it was not even clear she saw my face. I hoped she had heard my voice as I spoke to her and held her face before she passed.Ive been angry with myself for failing to speak up for my pet and furious with that place. This horrible experience does not end there. My mother had her terrier treated for his injuries a few days before, and a day after my experience she discovered injuries the vet did not even acknowledge let alone treat. She was charged $800 for an emergency visit where he stayed in a crate until they could fit him in, conducted x-rays and bloodwork, and sent him home with antibiotics. Obviously, there was absolutely no thorough exam. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS WITH THIS VET.

ZERO! If I would've listened to these people, my pet would've died. I took my pet to the vet because she wasnt acting like her normal self. When I called I expressed a couple of concerns. They told me that we could drop her off and that they would run some tests. They charged me 800$ for some xrays and bloodwork. OMG! Either way, a couple of hours later they called telling us that her bloodwork was fine and that her xrays showed some concerns for arthritis and some legions. Otherwise, she was fine, gave her some medication and could go home by 230pm. Next morning, she was in the corner trembling in pain, hadn't had anything to eat or drink, and started to throw up. I took her to ************************ in Algadones. They verified one of my concerns within minutes of seeing her. My female had Pyometra (an infection in the uterus.) She had to have emergency spay surgery. How did this go unnoticed at Cottonwood Vet? She had xray and bloodwork done! This is something that should've come up! This doesn't happen overnight! My pet is doing so much better after taking her to Roadrunner! Special thank you to *******************************!NEVER EVER WILL I EVER TAKE MY PETS TO COTTONWOOD! THIS IS APPALING!UPDATE: I went to the Cottonwood Animal Clinic yesterday and spoke with *****, who then told me that ************** was not available, but then expressed to me that she would talk to ************** about the services performed at her office! I also asked for a refund of partial of the bill! I followed up this morning, hoping for some sort of resolution to this matter as I am not working because I have I have two disabled daughters! I spoke with ************* and she informed me that she would not be offering me a refund! That I would have to go through the corporate office NVA! I feel as though I have completely ripped off from these people.! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF BY A CONSENDING DOCTOR WHO OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL! APPALING!
