My husband and I purchased a 2010 Land Rover from Brian at Kissner on December 18, 2021. When we purchased this vehicle we were under the assumption that we were purchasing a good previously owned vehicle. Mike did show us (were not given a copy) the carfax report when we were signing the sales agreement, which he stated that it did show one “minor repair” from an accident on the front passenger side of the vehicle. That’s all that was told to us and we did not receive the carfax report with our documents. While taking the vehicle for a test drive we noticed that the key fob was taped and in rough shape, and that the tires were looking pretty bald, there was an agreement to have the key fob replaced with purchase of vehicle (haven’t received) but Kissner would not replace the tires. Also while test driving the vehicle the service light came on, there was an agreement to have it serviced when we came to pick up the key fob . Brian apologized for not having anyone there on a Saturday to wash the vehicle before we took it. Not thinking much of it we told him it was no problem. We took the vehicle through a car wash a day or two later…to our astonishment the car had water pouring in from around the windshield area, down the sides, where the airbag area is and where there’s electrical (we were in an automatic car wash…the car wash doors were closed) we had no way to stop the water from pouring in the vehicle! No towels, nothing! Quite the shock! Not just the water but then the airbag area with electrical started smoking!!! My husband immediately messaged Brian. He stated that he thought that had been fixed…this was an issue that Kissner auto knew about! We were very upset to say the least! Brian said that he’d have the in-house windshield company come out to fix it. A windshield company came to look at it, he put a camera around the windshield area but couldn’t find the problem and haven’t heard a word from Kissner since & much more that I can’t fit here.
