On Friday, November 4, 2022 we hired Maese Plumbing to install a tankless water heater in our home. The owner of the company, Greg M****, sent his worker Robert to complete the work, before installation we asked if he was sure he knew what to do and how to do it as he started messing with our breaker box and wiring. He assured us that he had installed plenty tankless water heaters. November 5 we woke up to no hot water. We contacted Greg who told us he was hunting and couldn’t do anything for us until he returned that following Tuesday. We went 4 days without hot water. I contacted an electrician who came to our house and informed us that they used wiring that was too small in the breaker box for the water heater and my house could have easily caught fire. I had to pay the electrician to completely re-do the work that Maese Plumbing initially did and was paid for. During the time the electrician was working, not only was electrical work completed by an employee who was incompetent and not licensed, he did not use anchors to mount the tank less water heater which in turn fell off the wall. I expressed my concern to Greg who agreed to pay me back what I initially paid him for a job that was not completed. It’s been three weeks and he has now stopped answering calls and texts and has even blocked me from Facebook where most of our communication occurred. I never expected this behavior from Greg or his business. 1. He sends his employee Robert to complete his work and don’t take Ownership when it’s done wrong 2. They completely wired everything wrong and our breaker box had to be fixed. Clearly this company isn’t competent to complete electrical work and shouldn’t be doing so! We placed our trust in Maese Plumbing for a job and were taken advantage of and given the run around and now are being ignored. I will be taking this further, we work hard for our money and investments in our home and shouldn’t have to pay two separate businesses for the same work!
