Woke up with three bites on my left arm and found a live bed bug near my pillow. I promptly approached the front desk to report the issue. While the staff member at the front desk was courteous, her ability to address the matter was limited. However, the front office manager exhibited a notably unfavorable attitude. He asserted that the room had been inspected by the pest control team just two days prior, revealing no signs of bed bugs. Disregarding my video evidence of the bug, he confidently declared that the room was entirely free of bed bugs. Ironically, the reason for the recent pest control inspection was a previous guest reporting bed bug bites in the same room. The front office manager continually interrupted me, didn't look at my video evidence or the bites, and consistently challenged my identification of the bed bug, dismissing my concerns. They maintained that no action could be taken. This passive and inadequate response proved quite frustrating. Additionally, I observed the presence of hair on pillows and bedding and even found an eyelash on one of the pillows. Personally, I am not ****** bothered by such occurrences as they can happen in many hotels. However, in light of the bed bug incident and the unsatisfactory attitude of the front desk manager, I feel it's important to also mention the poor cleanliness of the bedding.

To whom it may concern, The hotel hires professional pest control companies to verify all complaints about vermin in any hotel room. This particular room had an inspection on 12-28-23. It was cleared by a licensed and bonded pest control company. The guest checked in on 12-29-23. The room in question had no previous guests prior to the inspection. So, if there were vermin as the guest has been traveling the vermin were brought to the hotel by the guest. Anyone can do research on Bed Bugs and research shows that guests bring them to hotels, and they do not just naturally occur. We will also be having the room inspected again to verify either way as this is our policy. Each inspection cost the hotel $185.00 . I have also provided the guest with an email address to share any video or pictures from the incident.
