At around 1:30 pm on 16 Sep 21, I attempted to schedule an appointment with Farmington Family Dentistry. I spoke with the clerk (shorter Hispanic/Latina lady) and she took my name. The first clerk saw that I was in the system and she attempted to stonewall me for an appointment request. I asked for the first clerk's name but she refused to answer my question. Then, a second clerk (heavy set Hispanic/Latina lady), the first clerk's supervisor (******) attempted to de-escalate the situation until ****** begun to raise her voice at me. I attempted to de-escalate the situation by not looking at ******. I just wanted to confirm my appointment with Farmington Family Dentistry's administration team. The first clerk refused to help me. Then, the second clerk, ******, started yelling at me. ******** face looked a little red like she had been drinking from the night before. At this time both clerks refused to help me with an appointment scheduling. I told them my tooth hurt and I was in a little pain. There were some other clerks that heard the conversation and they attempted to help an elderly couple with their appointments. Someone must have notified the dentist because the doctor attempted to de-escalate the situation. Specifically, I told the dentist that the first clerk would not confirm my request for an appointment and the second clerk, ******, raised her voice at me with the notion that the doctor would interpret my notions - his administration staff was unprofessional. I told the doctor I was in tooth pain and him being a dentist and me being his client, the dentist would attempted to get his client into seek help. (I wanted to ask him about a possible missed appointment, a possible reason for my tooth pain, but the separate issue might have distracted the dentist from his intentions or rather his reason for avoiding my assistance with needing an appointment on 16 Sep 21.) The dentist attempt to side with his administration staff and the pain institution started demanding respect from me. I was confused. What does respect have to do with a health care facility's mission statement? So, I asked the doctor about his mission statement. The doctor attempted to answer the question and I interrupted the dentist because I did not see his mission statement on the wall nor on his stationary.Next, the doctor seemed adamant about joining his clerks' intentions of stonewalling me. Frustrated, I stated, "I demand an apology." The institution silenced themselves with their notion of respect. Then, the doctor and a clerk (my height - blonde Caucasian lady) that was not involved with the first and second clerks' kickback acted surprised with my request for an apology. The first and second clerk made a show with no remorse for their actions.I am under the impression that Farmington Family Dentistry is a pain institution and are they establishing themselves as a mafia-type place that issues out pain for ************* veteran clients? On an initial visit, I received care at Farmington Family Dentistry and the dentist made a ******* with filling my cavity. I did not escalate my issue based on the doctor's ******* because I wanted to give the man the benefit of the doubt. I must raise the question about the dentist's intentions with his second ******* on not assisting client's with their health care. I had a question about a follow-up appointment with my continued health care but I was not able to request an appointment for my continued health care.I must recap. I attempted to schedule an appointment with Veteran Affairs' (VA) assigned dentist for me but his clerical staff stonewalled me and his clerical's staff's manager yelled at me. In turn, the dentist chased me out of his building while the dentist was stating, "I have a problem!" while he was looking for a conflict. Is there a serious countertransference issue with the doctor and his staff members? Are local gangs attempting to coerce Farmington Family Dentistry so the professional staff are subjected to weakening their ethics and morals? On a possible side issue, ************ marijuana policies are changing. Are local gangs attempting to use pain in order to distract civilians and veterans from receiving adequate health care?
