I was traveling through for the holidays and heard a bad noise after 4 shops said they could look at it next week, not wanting my Christmas spoiled I called one more number and they offered a free inspection to determine what was wrong they quickly got the parts did a complete inspection with pictures never got this at home short story is ** and the cute dog have me on the road to see my dad for Christmas thanks to the whole crew that made me feel welcome T.L.Review from Allen B

Excellent Service! I was really impressed by the detailed inspection they sent to me via email and text message! Not only was the inspection easy to follow and understand on my phone, the staff was very helpful in my questions about it. On 8/7/22 my husband took his 2015 ***** Silverado into the ********** loction to get the air conditioner fixed. We were charged $609.68. The next day the air conditioner was not cooling at all. We couldn't get it back in till the following week on the 26th due to his work schedule and their busy schedule. They found a leak which should have been detected the first time. When he picked up his truck, he was charged another $620.68. Although, he argued how unfair this charge was, they were not going to give him any breaks. Brown's did not honor their warranty. We paid more the second time. These Experts failed to catch the leak the first time so we had to pay for the labor twice! They could have at least given us a break on the labor. We are so disappointed in this business and will never take our vehicles back to them.

BBB - We have contacted the customer and have them scheduled to continue the repairs on the **** The vehicle is over 25 years old and had over ******* miles. **** we explained the work that was performed as well as the other work that was needed the customer agreed to have us fix the vehicle. We will be repairing the oil lines and oil cooler adapter seal at no charge.Customer Response

No one has ever contacted us about this by phone or email The 2015 ***** Silverado is 7yrs old not 25. They fixed the problem they missed the first time and charged us labor again. Our complaints was that they didn't honor the warranty for the repair they did the first time. So we were charged the full labor amount when brought it back the second time. It wasn't an oil line. It was the air conditioner. Read above.Customer Response

So nothing has been resolved. What happened? Nothing became of this complaint. They never reached out to us. Whoever they resolved the issue with, was the wrong people.Review from Joanne P

Please consider avoiding this business for 2 reasons:Around January of 2022 I took my car to this business for loose brakes. Within a month of the "repair" the brakes were loose again. The business determined that THEY PUT IN A DEFECTIVE PART, and replaced the brakes at no charge to me. I could have lost my brakes and been severely injured. Later that same year I went to check on the tire pressure in my car and was shocked to see that it was 38psi instead of 33psi.The tires were over inflated which could have caused them to explode and cause injury to **** will not use this business again.Brown's Automotive Experts Response

Thank you for discussing your issues with us. We wish we had more control over the quality of the parts we receive. (unfortunately, we have experienced some distribution and quality issues since the Covid pandemic as the majority of all vehicle parts are manufactured overseas) We do our best to locate and install only the highest quality parts available while being price-conscious as we do offer a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on all repairs.
