This business is owned and run by misogynistic scammers. I took my car in for a misfiring engine, they claimed it was damaged wiring causing it and that it needed a time consuming repair, for the bargain price of about $2200. They also told me it was my only choice to get that repair, as the wiring they needed that they could have replaced in less than one day was "indefinitely backordered". I accepted, but after repeated trips back to their shop to pick up my "repaired" car only to return within hours with the same misfiring engine, they finally sent me away one week later with the same exact misfiring engine under the guise that they "had actually fixed the original issue [I] brought it in for and now it was something else" that they could not fix that was causing the misfiring engine. They refused to look at my car again until over two weeks later, *after* I'd spent another $250 to get it diagnosed at the dealership. They also refused to give me a refund when the dealership diagnosed it as the same wires they "repaired", but guess what...the part was available (NOT on indefinite backorder), and my car was fixed within less than one day. And I have not had an issue since. The owner of the shop tried to pass blame to every other mechanic that had looked at my car, even trying to say this was all caused by an accident I'd had over a year prior. And when I tried to get my <$2500 back in SMALL CLAIMS COURT, he used a whole partner at a law firm to defend him. Now if he has nothing to hide and my repair was fully on the up-and-up, why would you need such an attorney? I was actually a repeat customer to this shop, having patronized it years prior and having a pleasant experience back then, which is why I returned years later. That was an expensive mistake I will never make again.

They claim to be professional and certified. I took my truck in making noise. It sounded like a bunch of rocks In a tin can. They claimed it to be the fly wheel. So they replaced it for $1600 noise was still there when I got my truck back then they were claiming it to be the transmission and wanted another **** to fix. I took it to another mechanic who with in an hour found it to be the starter. He replaced the starter and now the noise is gone The owner at zia automotive was unprofessional when I tried to discuss the issue and told me that the new mechanic was the one who broke the starter. When he's the one who fixed it and the noise went away.
