This business in ***********, **********, was closed all of January with no indication on the door when to expect an opening date and there is no number to call for a recorded message. On February 26, I ordered 2 extra small ***************** prints to be framed and paid 50% of the transaction. On Monday March 7, I dropped by the Gallery because there is NO number available to the public. I ran into The Owner at about 2 pm as she was closed and leaving for a dental appointment. She was in a hurry but was able to give me her personal number. That night she text me the prints would be available on Wednesday. When I arrived at noon on Wednesday, the prints were ready and very well framed. I touched one of the prints on the glass to remove a piece of lint. The Owner grabbed the framed print and told me you can not touch the glass. I said, Ok but, I do own one of them.She was so angry, after I touched the glass. She said, I know you are going to return these. Before I was able to actually see the second framed print, ****** grabbed both prints and took them away and said, I have the best framer ever and I am not selling these to you . I said,wait what is going on here? She said I know you will return them. Again she said I know you are going to return them. I pointed to the large ***************** of The Proud Lady, and said I bought that actual print and frame here at this gallery and did not return it. She had no reply. But, started punching her key board to return my money. I left the gallery extremely perplexed about the character of this owner and her behavior. I am retired, 73, and local and try to buy locally. I hope this owner treats our out of town travelers better than this. I feel somewhat dismayed about this situation but realize there are a lot of options in old town. I can definitely take my business elsewhere and I did.
