I was preparing to sign up with this company but, after the reviews I read here I ripped the application up and trashed it! I have enough headaches with my home warranty to throw more money away behind money hungry companies. I HAD THE SERVICE LAST YEAR 2023. On 02/21/24 AMR did auto pay of ****** without giving me a notice of increase. last years was about 198 dollars . I called immediately and was told I could do a request to cancel, but could not reverse the action. I was told refund would take 7 - 10 days. I've called a few times and told same story and sent around to different departments and hung up on a couple times. Today 04/24/24 I was told it may take 2 billing cycles (60 days).American Water Resources, LLC Response

1 star is too high!!! They would not pay for my broken sewer line. Roots are not covered and I feel that is probably the single most cause of broken sewer lines. I canceled my coverage October 2023 and I am still waiting for my refund of ******. I have called at least 7 times!!! Before this happened I bought the indoor protection and will not be renewing. Customer Beware!I have been dealing with canceling service with AWR since December 2023.I am Personal Representative of customer who passed away in 2023. I sent cancellation notice in December 2023, kept getting billed so another call to AWR and am told they needed documentation proof of death and Personal Representative. Sent them the info and got a notice that AWR is trying to bill for service again. I call AWR and was told that the account owner needs to add my name to account so I can cancel account! What?? I am not able to leave no stars ! One of the worst companies I have ever delt with. They are quick to take your money but could care less about you or the services they claim to provide. The first claim took almost 2 months and of course with no contact from them. Now on 4/12/24 I filed a claim paid my claim fee ( you don't pay your fee you don't get to file a claim) and I received one text message from Keepe saying they are not going to accept the work order and canceled it, telling me to contact AWR. So every day for the last 7 days I have contacted them , I have been lied to so many times regarding the service call and they do not know who will be doing it. But they ALWAYS say "as soon as possible" I have NO heat it was 32 last night high today 52 and they DO NOT CARE. They make sure they get your monthly fee and service fee immediately. When I spoke with a supervisor named ***** and asked for her boss's contact info she replied " I don't have that information". First I have a failure resulting way back in 2021. NOW, I have been trying since February of this year, 2024, to get AWR to make contact with a plumbing service!! COMPLETE FAILURE again!! I was told to wait on the plumbing company to call me. NEVER HAPPENED. Then, the last time I called I was told "your team" would have to search for another plumbing company to come out. That NEVER HAPPENED. MY water and sewage bill have totalled over a thousand dollars a month since February. It's an outside leak. My husband and I are in our 70's. Would AWR like to pay my bills?? I was also told if I get someone to repair, on my own, AWR would not pay. Apparently this so called service is a waste of time, lying to the customer. I placed a claim on 3/25 that still needs to be fixed. I told them I was willing to pay the cost of $3,000 to fix it if they would reimburse me, and they said no because they assigned it to Keep.com Between the back and forth between the two companies, the water that was before just on the back close to the fence is now to the house. I am sure they are waiting for me to get desperate and fix it on my own so they don't have to pay. This company shouldn't have an A- It should be an F-American Water Resources, LLC Response
