As a business owner, I really appreciate when someone lives up to their word and provides a great customer **********************. The owner answered the phone on a Sunday morning and he had his guy out by Wednesday to take care of my HVAC unit. It's a miracal these days to find someone like these guys. The owner of Affordable Heating & Cooling & Refrigeration Service, *********************, personally called me back on Christmas Eve to discuss and recommend repair options for my 30-year-old boiler. *** even provided a 'self-help' remedy to get me going before he could arrive to repair the unit. He walked me through the procedure to both determine a probable cause of the failure and to temporarily get my heat going because it was 9 degrees Fahrenheit outside. That is pretty darn good customer ********************** anytime let alone on Christmas Eve!

Terrible. Very unprofessional. Its really sad because we did use him in the past. We found out that he does not hold up to his word. Refused to come out to my house. Unit was still in warranty and cut us off. I have paperwork to prove it. Will never use again.

In reference to Mrs. ********** review, our company has serviced this customer for many years. Everytime she called our company she would scream and yell at me like I was a child nevertheless our company still responded to her service call in a timely manner. *********************** knew her contract for her air conditioner was coming to an end in July which she has mentioned to me. She had some service work completed for her air conditioner for a clogged condensation drain which we completed then she wanted to pay our company to come over for $100 to clean her outdoor condenser coil. The work was performed without a problem. *********************** had ******* also renewed a service agreement for 1 year for a summer/winter maintenance without my knowledge. I instructed my employee to return the check to the customer for the maintenance agreement for the following next year which he did so. I do not want to do any more work for this customer due to the fact that I'm constantly getting yelled at by her and she threatens me with her son who is a cop in the Town where I live. We have fulfilled all obligations to this customer since the beginning of the very first time we were there. Through all the abuse I have taken I still did my job as a professional and still took care of the problem that she had. I am 63 years old and have a perfect record with 99 percent of my customers. It is not against the law to refuse to do work for a customer because you feel you are not being treated properly especially if you don't owe them any money or any work. I wish her luck with the new heating and air conditioning company that she told me who was going to do her work and this is the last time we spoke. Once again her maintenance agreement renewal has been refunded to her. Also the coil cleaning that she paid our company $100 was also completed and refunded back to her.
