Absolutory abysmal! If you have a choice do not use this moving company, If you are military and you see this ** on your paperwork, go back to Transpo and request a new ** ASAP. AA was a subcontractor for our government TSP **********. I am finally able to post this because after 8 months we are complete with our almost $40k in damages. It has been a living nightmare caused by this **s unprofessional and completely incompetent movers (supposedly the best crew that frequents ********** and a placating manager (*****) who was told to come to our site for the last 3 days of our move because the crew was so bad. 1. Day 1 (should have been our day 2), Crew didn't arrive until 2:30pm, and didn't have the address. The Ft. ******** QC agent had to chase them down outside the gate and bring them back. They stayed until 6:30pm - only 4 hours!2. They begin packing the upper floor and just dump tubs into boxes, Kids toys, art, toiletries all mixed. No packing paper, no padding. Stuff rolls down the stairs because they are so quickly dumping our property.3. Day 2, (original day 3), crew showed up at 12:30, stayed until 6:30pm. Same ****, start packing our art and family pictures - no padding, ***** per box - Resulted in thousands of $$ in damage to the frames. They drop a $4000 craft cabinet on its face, destroying half of it.4. Day 3 (original our load day, but because of their poor work ethic (only worked 10 hours during our two load days)) turned into ************* day. Crew still showed up late, 11am and was required to have a manager with them because of multiple DOD QC agent complaints. This day they destroyed our dining table, deconstructing the base, ripping in apart at the dowels and continued to pack as haphazardly as possible.5. Day 4 (load day 2), show time 10:30, This day we were not supposed to be in the house, AA caused us to bust our load day and extend on our lease with housing.Worst move of 12 in years of 16 military service. DO NOT USE!AA American Moving & Storage, Inc. Response

AA American Moving was a great experience. Her is why - They were in constant contact with me from the time I reached out and asked for a quote through the post move. They coordinated with me prior to move day, they contacted me when they were on their way. I was a bit late on arrival and they were patient and did not charge me. They continually asked to verify items to be moved and were well organized with the move process. Nothing was damaged and on the move in they were very organized on quick but careful placement and moving of delicate items. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them for your move.Review from Margret B

DO NOT USE COLONIAL VAN LINES, their subsidiary A.A. MOVING AND STORAGE or BCM RELOCATION LLC.There are so many warnings on this site that I cannot believe these companies are still in business. If you value your property and are looking for honesty and integrity, please stay away from Colonial Van Lines and their subsidiaries. After doing what I thought was careful research and getting estimates from several moving companies, we chose A.A. Moving and Storage, our local Colonial Van Lines agent. They were not the most expensive. They were not the cheapest. I spoke with 2 different employees and neither informed me that our move would be outsourced to BCM Relocation LLC. I was given a binding estimate ( binding only on the customer), told that maybe the weight could be a little higher, but I signed a contract at the binding weight, put down a substantial deposit and was asked for a 5 day window for scheduling purposes. I was told someone would cal with an actual date as soon as they figured out their schedule. I called multiple times asking for a date confirmation. 4 days into our window, less than 24 hours before the final day (the day before our closing), I received a call confirming that they would actually show up.The next morning, **** from BCM Relocation LLC shows up in a box truck much smaller than I had anticipated for our interstate move. I asked if all our belongings would fit on the truck, and he assured me they would. At noon, with the small truck rapidly filling, I again asked if he was sure this truck would be big enough or did he need to call for another truck. He assured me everything would fit. At 6:00 pm, the night before our scheduled closing, **** informs me that the truck is full - my entire 2nd floor - every bed, every dresser, every nightstand- is still on the 2nd floor. **** says h*** send the truck back the next afternoon for the rest, after he unloads all my belongings onto another truck for the journey to North Carolina. UNLOAD!?! Yep. They changed trucks. When I explained for the umpteenth time that we had to be out of the house before 11:00 am, he shrugged. We had a rented a truck for the items we didnt want the movers to take and grills and lawn equipment that they wouldnt take. **** says he can fit the rest of furniture in our rented truck. They got everything in there, and we spent the rest of the night taking the items we had planned to put in the truck we had rented to various friends garages all over town. After delivery of our furniture, we rented another truck, drove back to ********** and collected everything from all over town.We did not have the delivery issues others have had - lost or delayed delivery, but we did get held up for ****** like others have complained. The day before our scheduled delivery, I called to find out how much more we were going to owe for this fiasco. I asked what our final weight was. I was told it was the weight in our binding agreement. I said no, that is the estimate, what is the actual total. Again, she gave me the binding agreement weight. I said obviously we came in under, because there is no way the numbers are exact. She once again gave me the same weight and said that is what we owe. Great. Because of the $1000 in extra charges that **** had tacked on, I had covered our binding agreement with the 2 deposits except for about $300.When the different truck arrived with the different driver and different movers, I was given a **** for weight almost ***** lbs over the binding estimate. I called every number I had asking for an explanation, but was told the woman I spoke with (Armani) the day before had made a mistake. Half my furniture was sitting on the rental truck! How was I almost ***** lbs over? I was told to pay or my furniture would be taken to storage (at a cost of course) until I paid. Then the fun really began. I am sorry that there is not a way to upload photos here. Piece after piece of my antique furniture was unloaded, broken and bashed. Sofa legs, wingback chair leg, dresser, blanket chest, buffet, on and on and destroyed. It took me a month to document all the damage and get repairs completed. I submitted photographs and receipts to the very busy claims department. Including repairs, replacing missing k**** and the rental truck we had to rent to take back to collect the items left behind because they didnt provide an adequate truck, the total was about $2,500. 3 months and 1 day after they acknowledged receipt of my claim, they informed me that Colonial Van Lines will pay $188 if I sign a Release of Liability and Confidentiality Agreement. It is criminal. I cannot understand how they are still in business. Please DO NOT use COLONIAL VAN LINES, A.A. MOVING AND STORAGE, or BCM RELOCATION LLC if you value your belongings!Review from Joseph L.
